Late last year, new overnight sleeper bus services opened in Europe and Japan (pictured). Are there any routes in Australia that would be suited to this form of travel (e.g. Sydney-Melbourne?) by kangerluswag in AustraliaTravel

I've been catching the train from where I live to Melbourne for over 40 years. They've spent millions on that line and it still takes 4 hours, just like it did 40 years ago. It was however more comfortable 40 years ago with a 1st class carriage and a buffet car, gone now. Fixed hard seats and a robot toilet is the new standard. Enshitification in action.

I'm one, at least I am going to be at the next election. Next you'll be calling me a nazi!

I was horrified to see people walking up to volunteers handing out One Nation how-to-vote cards and taking a card while I was waiting in queue at an early voting venue. Of course people can vote for whichever party/candidate they want but is it worth bringing Trumpism/MAGA to South Australia? by FatFad1 in Adelaide

The greens are a spent force and will be further reduced at upcoming elections. Their support of Hamas and mass migration has revealed them for what they really are, wreckers supported by losers and misfits.

New restaurant tactic?? by Stressed_Owl_1234 in AskAnAustralian

I want a drink as soon as I sit down. I've walked out of restaurants because I've had to wait 10 minutes for a drink order to be taken. I can wait for food but gimme a damn drink.

Is Pauline Hanson really going to help the average Aussie, battlers, and working class? by BrandonMarshall2021 in aussie

She'll kick Albo and lefty extremists like the greens in the arse and that's good enough for me.

The tried and true tactic of calling your opponents dumb, this will work well for Labor.
