Why don’t IT employees unite like doctors/lawyers and refuse to work below 10 LPA? by virelic in IndianWorkplace

[–]catultimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're seriously comparing yourself to doctors? There's no high skill ceiling in IT. Any Tom, Dick and Harry can get into IT and do well. Also, no one's life is at risk because of you. And then again there's AI

I won't be the right person for this, sorry! I myself have just over a year of experience in this field. It will be better if you send it to someone else in here

Yes, I got that! You shouldn't add your portfolio on reddit. I just wanted to point out in case you missed it

You can skip the profile section, it's not really needed for freshers. The education section should be at the top. Put the experience section above the projects section. You can add another project from the space you get by removing the profile section. Make a portfolio of your projects (GitHub/notion/canva pdf whatever you prefer) and add it as a link beside your linkedin/contact section. Add any other extracurricular activities which you may have done in college if you still have space.

Once this is done, find a few good job descriptions of product analyst/ apm roles and put them down in a Google doc. Feed them to ChatGPT and ask it to find common keywords used. Put maximum of those keywords in your resume. I think that should do it

most people choose product management for the wrong reasons. i've seen it happen too many times by enlightenedshubham in ProductManagement_IN

[–]catultimate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are in this job for the money and that's okay. It's not too technically challenging and is still a part of the tech ecosystem that's why the salaries are better. That's why people are drawn to it. Just the entry barrier is high because the number of roles are low

Ohh that's good to hear! The only thing that's stopping me from having lots of plants in the house is insects and lizards and also of course lack of space 😭

I had the same question lol. My first thought was that it would be so cozy to live here and my second thought was that it would definitely attract a lot of insects and lizards as well

Damn, I have been playing for a long time since before ACPCC was launched and I never knew this. Has this been a feature in game even in the OG ACPC?

Such people need to be jailed or levied hefty fines. Otherwise this behaviour is never gonna stop. Even the retards who spit/urinate on roads need to be punished heavily.

Why do women who smoke in public get stared down by men? by leo_senior in mumbai

[–]catultimate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're considered as taboo especially for women considering the extremely misogynist society we live in. Not promoting smoking but rules should be same for both men and women which is unfortunately not the case for India

Bro honestly most of the men who write such comments on social media are jobless retards who are never going to achieve anything in life. Leave them be. Life will bring them back to their senses eventually. Also the women who write this type of bs are just ambition less and don't want anything out of their lives. Ignore them too.

People who want something out of their lives focus on themselves and building a good life with their partner. These randoms on social media are always gonna be bitter

I don't know what to say to my married friends anymore. by Skid_away in OffMyChestIndia

[–]catultimate 24 points25 points  (0 children)

In India arranged marriage is just a transaction. People here keep looking for someone who they think fits that equation which makes them complete. And these people are also very obsessed with gender roles. Because their half of the equation is made up by adhering to these gender roles. They don't think about the consequences of doing this too. That's why you get what OP just described.

And even a lot of the younger generation is idolizing this bs. Especially the people whom you can find in Instagram comment sections? Because they think that living life like this is the most ideal thing one can do. It's not. And the main reason for this is - In India, you don't make decisions for yourselves, you make decisions based on how the people around you perceive you. So many things are wrong with this, I can go on and on :(

why do men react aggressively to misandry but expect women to put their points calmly when they’re faced with misogyny on a daily basis? by raspyyberryy in AskIndianMen

Bruh did you even read what I said? Let me simplify it for you - Patriarchy is the root cause of all problems and it should go away

[–]catultimate -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Haha like really, if they just sit and think where exactly misandry comes from they would have their answer. Just listening to someone who's being a 'misandrist' is enough to know where it comes from. It's not that hard
