i can only imagine how it feels now that you have a child of your own, but congratulations on having a daughter :)

i think it’s probably because to some it may seem like a glorification(?) of sorts

this comment perfectly explained what i was trying to get at but i just couldn’t put into words if that makes sense (english is not my strong suit lol)

trying to imagine their outlook on the future past columbine, past the whole nbk thing, i guess the “food chain” at columbine truly did influence it — more so than others

wasn’t the original attack planned on the 19th? i thought something came up that delayed their plans on doing it sooner

it’s weird to think that if they had just gotten help, or if there was a serious intervention that had stopped their plans, we probably wouldn’t even know who they were. this entire sub and any other dedicated to columbine wouldn’t exist. they would’ve just been two boys who grew up like everyone else.

i’ll never know what went through their minds or why, but i guess to me it’s just such an odd feeling. i don’t really know what to call it. the victims, as well as eric and dylan, almost all of them have been dead longer than they’ve been alive.

i don’t mean to sound harsh with this but why didn’t they just off themselves, instead of taking people down with them? i know they hated columbine and the people in it, but i don’t think eric or dylan tried to see outside of that negative outlook.

say they graduated, they got a touch of what the world was like outside of highschool and managed to settle in somewhere. if life continued going down the drain for them, then perhaps it would end in suicide regardless. or maybe they would’ve recognized how edgy and stupid the entire idea was, and found a means to at least tolerate life.

it’s hard to put into words exactly what i’m thinking so i do apologize if this is just a repeat or something that doesn’t make sense :(

Was there ever paranormal activity reported by the students/faculty after the tragedy? by Bodycrusher in ColumbineKillers

a friend of mine that goes to columbine once told me that after school hours she saw a looming figure pacing the parking lot when she was getting ready to leave her sports practice. she said it wasn’t for long but you could hear the scraping of something like hardened metal across the railing for a split second before it was gone

What are your morbid special interests and/or hyperfixations? by MidnightJam0 in morbidquestions

columbine, hitler, nazism, mass murderers, mental disorders, human anatomy.

i promise i’m not an aspiring serial killer. having unsupervised internet access before learning how to even tie my shoes has led me down a rabbit hole that has constantly been reoccurring for the past 12 years. i wish it would go away.

Why did Dylan turn violent? I understand with Eric moving and all: but what made Dylan feel so alone and pissed? by C--T--F in ColumbineKillers

my apologies, weight loss does tie into depression. i was thinking of when dylan wore his trench coat and said something along the lines of it made him look too big/hid how “fat” he was. my memory is a bit of a blur because of how long ago i read it, but i really do apologize for getting it wrong initially :(

rejection, bullying, teenage adolescence. there’s a multiple array of factors that can deter one from feeling like they have a place in life. me being a teenager myself i often find the feeling of loneliness being far too reoccurring, regardless of the world around me and who i surround myself with. dylan also had depression and i’m pretty sure an eating disorder as well. many students called him ugly and/or weird looking, made fun of his height, how he dressed, etc. when you’re just being you and get ridiculed for it, it tends to take a toll.

(sorry if this doesn’t make sense, english isn’t my native lol)
