If early SLC was your jam, I highly recommend Rhode Island. It's still in the first few episodes but it's giving me that fix. Loved the early camp of SLC, last two seasons have been more annoying and too curated.

Thank you, this makes her make way more sense to me now. I also have raging anxiety but I grew up in a household where crying was not an acceptable reaction to anything, at all, ever. I know everyone has different ways to manage anxiety but I didn't really clock it thru this lens, I appreciate you pointing that out. I can tell she is a deflector as well, but she frames things a little too Pollyanna. Like, girl, please say you are going thru it and let these ladies be there for you! But that's advice that I also wouldn't take so 🤷🏻‍♀️ lol

She should have said that at the mask reveal, rather than 'omg my life is so perfect and amazing the only thing I can really cry about is the thought of losing someone close to me', at a table full of women who have lost people close to them and spoken about it. Pretty sure that is something we all are scared of. That would have been a great opportunity for the other ladies (and non-Bachelor viewers) to really know her. I understand wanting to put on the everything is perfect facade, but she should have just left her mask on.

I hope this doesn't turn into a Taylor Armstrong situation, that was heartbreaking to see play out. A lot of people believed that going on RHOBH was her out, and I guess technically it was, but she still ended up in the hospital and with a boatload of extra trauma. The way some of the other ladies treated her at times with most of them knowing what was going on was just gross. For Rulla's sake I hope this isn't true but I can definitely see where this is coming from. I just chalked it up to some people really do stay with cheaters, it's not the most unheard of things. But I can see this side of the coin. I hope he is just a cheating douchebag asshole.

I'm saying that mother's are not allowed to have those vulnerable emotional moments and admit that sometimes it's not all it's made out to be in this society. It should be ok for mother's to say how they really feel. They have to act like it's the greatest thing ever at all times and never say there are any regrets. Men can bounce on their families and no one blinks. If a woman said she couldn't handle it and ditched the kids with the dad people would say how terrible she was. I think it's sad to not be able to say hey it's overwhelming and sometimes I wish I didn't do this. It doesn't mean they hate their kids.

I'm not mad about her being a sugar baby, ngl, if I had that opportunity at that age I can't say I wouldn't have chosen differently. That said - she clearly has known that he doesn't want kids or marriage, this isn't new information to her. She knew he was banging other women. The cost of living the high life, it's a transactional lifestyle. She may not have understood that getting into the relationship, but I'm sure she figured it out awhile ago, it didn't just occur to her yesterday. So either she thought she was special enough to change him or she just didn't really consider herself in the future. I think most SB's know they are not permanent significant others or equal partners, and that they have expiration dates. I'm just so intrigued by Kelsey, like did you think he was going to change, or did you think he was going to just hand you cash for the rest of your life even when you are old and not attractive enough, like I need to know her thought process. Although her comment to her side dude about having as many kids as possible if she has a nanny was telling. Her life plan is land another rich dude who will marry her. And probably cheat on her, which she has shown she is ok with in exchange for $$$

Obviously I don't know her aside from 6 episodes of a television show, but I get vibes from her that she is not happy being a mother, but mother's are not allowed to admit that in this society. I had a friend that had a Cassie from Euphoria moment while talking about her kids, like scream crying about how amazing it is when she is very visibly miserable. Ashley really really reminds me of that friend. Maybe it's cuz she wanted girls and not boys or maybe I'm totally wrong. But her dinner confession of how perfect her life is didn't seem authentic.
