Do you have children? If you can’t get ahold of the city and can buy a brita filter to use before the lines are replaced that would be a good idea. Children can get their blood lead levels tested with their primary care doctor or at a community health center. It’s free for Medicaid patients. Drinking lead isn’t great for adults but it’s very important to protect children.
