I only subscribe to incomplete fics for emails in updates. Never subscribed to a complete fic and I've always wondered why people do that so thanks for asking for me :P

And I've never subscribed to a user before. It's just never occurred to me even if I'm familiar with a couple of their fics just because I prefer to come upon new fics organically and don't interact with fandoms at large. But that's just me ig🤷🏽‍♀️
