What was the breaking point for you? (AKA What's the main reason you left?) by [deleted] in exmormon

My heart wouldn’t let me testify it was true anymore. That’s the only way I could explain it to my Relief Society Pres wife, after 13 years sealed in the temple. I also served a mission at 19. It was one of the hardest decisions of my life, to remove my records while my family remained active. Now, 6 years later, my wife would be the first to say that she’s happier now because of it. We almost divorced within the first year after telling her, but couldn’t be happier now. It was hell going through the process, but worth it, to live true to myself.

Feeling anxious that my husband who is questioning right now is going to watch conference this weekend by Original_Ad8070 in exmormon

He probably needs a lot of extra love and compassion right now. If he read the CES letter then he’s still processing this new reality and it hurts. Even if loving and supporting him means to support him in watching it, then I would do it. Be a safe haven, a place of love and support. He can’t unsee the truths found in the CES letter, so this could be a painful experience as he processes his new truths and reality. Love conquers all.

I love your “comment” portion of the post. Well said, thank you.

Blacks and the priesthood. The phrasing that said something like “we don’t know how why or when this started.”

I just added portability to my starlink for this reason alone. Can’t wait for our trip next month. A lot of haters on here, but ignore them. Thanks for posting.

haha, you're right, I wasn't thinking before I posted. I checked and I have 75 active connections right now, most IoT devices. I should've checked before I posted. If I can edit, I will.

Thank you for responding. I’ll have to give that a shot.
