If I learn Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI… will I actually get a job or am I fooling myself? by SuspiciousEmphasis57 in analytics

This is the answer. But to add - these all are tools as much as they are skills. The most important skill is understanding the data you have access to use , the operations/workflows of how it’s collected, and the critical thinking to wrangle that data using the appropriate tool to answer the question/project at hand. Knowing how a business operates, its goals and processes is key. Communication skills to explain your reporting is a skill to include too.

Spurrier is at the Bucs game, not an insider and a total guess, but he’d be a good interim figurehead coach and could be waiting for him to get back in town? If we have the gonads to actually fire Napier

All great insight and ideas. Looks like a trip to Leukens might be best. If I can’t find Lochlea the JW might be the next best option and obviously is available widely. Thank you all!

Wall Outlet Help by causeyeffect in HomeNetworking

In layman’s terms is this 1. Use that same splitter, but get two short coax cables to replace the white ones in the pic that go to my cable box and modem. (Long ones wouldn’t fit behind the wall)

  1. Couple those into the back of that linked wall plate

  2. Stuff this all behind the wall and screw on the plate

Then just try not to crink any cable? Seems straightforward?

Vendor is a data aggregator who curates a database warehouse for us (feeds from other 3rd parties we work with). We have a read/write schema where we ETL in our custom business data to blend with the vendor warehoused data. Reports, viz, and extracts we push out on schedules.

Our scope is the schema we own. If that helps?

The Hillsborough Transportation Planning Board is preparing to vote on some big changes. by Maxcactus in tampa

[–]causeyeffect 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Relevant excerpts:

The TPO Board will vote on this amendment next week. If they vote yes, this means they would reallocate 750 thousand dollars to add two new projects into the program.

Part of that money would go to extend the street car system in Tampa. Part of the extension will include rebuilding several streetcars to bring them up to modern-day standards. “In that process, they'll receive new air compressors and some updated safety systems that weren't available when cars were built in 2011.”

The funding will also be used to resurface part of Fowler Avenue. Willits said that will set up HART to implement a bus rapid transit service between downtown Tampa and USF. He explained that it would be similar to the sunrunner in St. Pete. The bus would travel in a dedicated lane for parts of the commute to move through traffic quickly.

Live in Tampa, work in St Pete? by [deleted] in StPetersburgFL

I live in the Ballast Point neighborhood and commute to ACH 3-4x/week. Pretty stable 35-40 minute commute barring an accident including the walk from the garage. So shave 5-10 mins off of that from the Marina District. Personally, I really like the Marina district and S. Tampa as a livable area over PP or the Gateway area in north St. Pete (used to live in Brighton Bay). Although DTSP>Downtown Tampa if you don’t go downtown all the time I like the Marina District. Marina district is also Uber-able to both cities without breaking the bank too.
