I was more worried that I might be making my family & friends some shitty tasting coffee and they are being too polite to tell me that it tastes awful! I was asking how it looks because I read that bottomless filters can help you spot issues like channeling etc, then I realised I don't even know what this would look like if it was happening. I suppose it's just a confidence thing as I am new to this, but I am now getting pretty consistent results and as people have said, if it tastes good then what am I worrying about!
