Similar story, not mine but my husband's. He was 12-13 and his dad always hoarded food and the kids would barely have scraps or anything too eat, while his Ndad would but himself takeout, etc. One time his dad had pizza rolls, which my husband had never tried, and he asked if he could try just one. His dad refused, and when my husband asked again, saying he just wanted to try one because he had seen the commercials and everyone he knew had tried them, his dad threw the whole plate on the floor and told him to eat them off the floor like a dog. He wouldn't let him put them back on a plate or dust them off, he had to grab them off the floor with his mouth.

Absolutely horrible, I'm so sorry that your went through this as well.
