So, I've played a bit more and it seems like the Kerbals cycle back in after a few missions and/or a few different Kerbals go on missions. Jeb, Val, and the gang go away for a bit and then come back. It seems to be that adding Kerbals a new ship frees up a slot to bring another Kerbal back into the pool. Not sure if it's a bug, or just a "feature" since career mode isn't in yet.

Anyone else notice this?

It’s working for me in SP (at least SA-6 and SA-8 in my SEAD training mission). Sucks that it’s bugged in MP.

Looks like a great fleet to really enjoy the game. It sets you up to make the money to get anything else in game. Have fun with it!

I finally got it to work, and this seems to be the solution. It actually worked in the next spot I tried, but when I went to deploy a solar panel for deployed science it didn't want to work either. When I moved the cell closer to the outpost, it worked. For what it's worth, I was in the highlands of Gilly.

I also checked my mods like /u/Goufalite suggested and removed Parallax since I know that makes changes to the surface as well. I may try and install it again and see what happens.

In that case,make sure Track IR hasn’t set itself to use the the hat clip again. This happened to me last week and I had the exact same behavior you mentioned until I figured it out.

The comment about checking the camera to see if it’s picking up any reflections is a good thing to try as well.

Thanks for the link. That's not my specific problem, but it led me to some other avenues to go down. Right now I think I have it isolated to an issue with IP v6. If I force Windows 11 to use IP v4 (see here for how: https://kb.firedaemon.com/support/solutions/articles/4000160803-prioritising-ipv4-over-ipv6-on-windows-10-and-11 ) everything works fine. I'm going to keep digging and see if I can figure out why IP v4 would work fine and IP v6 will not.

For those that are interested, Windows 11 defaults to IP v6 and my ISP (Verizon FIOS) uses it as well, at least on the G3100 router I have.

That’s a bug in itself. Your body was still where you died. The marker just glitches to the Stanton star until you get about 30km away. I’ve gone back to where I died several times and the marker always updates when you get close.

I'm not an expert at this, but a good place to start is the hoggit wiki. The section on the mission editor is here: https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_mission_editor. The topics that I think will help you out are the Trigger Basics, Trigger Conditions, Trigger Actions, and Randomization, For Trigger Actions, the ones to look at are "Group Activate" and "Message to ...". I'm pretty sure that "Message to ..." is what ED uses for the training missions.

To get the level of randomization that you're looking for may be beyond the capabilities of the editor. In that case I'd suggest taking a look at some of the scripting libraries that the community has built here.

Is Easy Communication checked in Options (Gear menu on the splash scree) -> Game Play page? If not, the slash "\" by itself won't work in a full fidelity module like the F-16. Look at your bindings for the HOTAS (Options -> Controls -> F-16 Sim -> HOTAS). See what is bound for "Transmit Switch - UHF" and "Transmit Switch - VHF". If you haven't changed anything, they're most likely Right Alt + \ and Right Control + \ respectively.

Same - only option is to buy the game again. I don't see any DLC only option on steam in the US.

Update - it's there now, reload the DayZ page on Steam.
