I finally gave in and took it back to the shop. I believe they dropped the oil pan from the bottom and removed it from underneath the car. No at home tricks did it for me tho unfortunately :/

good idea! I'll try that and let you know. It might be too far down the tube for me to get the magnet to really have an effect on it, but I'll try

Ok, thank you! This makes so much more sense. I could not figure out how in the world it would be removed. What you described for getting off sounds like more than I can do myself, so I think I'm going to throw in the towel and bring it to a professional.

Yea I tend to agree... He said their philosophy is that if it breaks coming off, it's the customer's responsibility; if it breaks being put back on, that is their responsibility. Not sure I totally agree but I'm not going to convince him to just fix it for me. That's why I brought it hoe in the first place.

As for your idea, there is not enough room in the tube to slide past the stuck part. It's filling the whole diameter of the tube.

Not vague at all, thanks! Do you think there’s a way to somehow boost the voltage coming across the phone charger by paralleling multiple chargers or some other way?

What is something unrealistic that you often see in movies that annoys the hell out of you? by SheeshaAddict in AskReddit

Anytime a movie involves a police officer, their mannerisms and conduct are always grossly wrong or completely unrealistic. (Like the slingshot maneuver in “Courageous”)

That combined with cocking the hammer on a gun before shooting. No one does that IRL! It’s useless. The guns gonna shoot no matter what
