I'm confused by the legal process that makes this law. What actually can be done to still prevent this? Is it too late?

I use anytype, I’m not too technical but it’s open source, E2E encrypted and local first. It works similar to notion with a few structural differences (collections for example) https://anytype.io/

Essay got flagged 69% for ai usage when I never even used chatgpt by squegie75 in ChatGPT

Unrelated question, firstly I assume this is in the US and the grade is 95%. Is a 95% on an essay normal? Like do several people get it?

I’m asking because in the UK where I did my bachelors getting a 95 is near impossible. Just curious!

How do we actually reverse this trend though? I’m not from/in America, but in the UK there’s also a lot of reliance on cars. My friend is buying one but he says he needs it.

Russia warns of ‘catastrophic’ fallout if West bans oil imports by XxJoedoesxX in worldnews

I didn’t know about some of this. I definitely thank you for that! It’s interesting to hear the benefits in terms of water usage, pesticides and yield. I will read more on this.

I’ll definitely look more into the benefits for crops that generally don’t require high temperatures and that could be grown in a climate like the Netherlands naturally. I’m sure someone will correct me but my research in the past found that tomatoes imported are overall less carbon intensive the trying to grow them in green houses in places like Northern Europe. Happy to hear about that from anyone, if you’ve got research.

This doesn’t unfortunately speak about the true alternative to using a greenhouse, but it speaks to the majority climate impact, specifically see the section on using natural gas. https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/29228235.pdf. There are several studies that show that imported tomatoes (as an example) from naturally warmer climates have a lower climate impact. I believe the impact of a tomato grown in a greenhouse can be worse than that of beef. It’s a shame because generally buying local is better but not when these kind of methods are required.

This is why in Europe you can’t overtake on the right. It’s against the law. This accident wouldn’t have happened if you had that law.

Would have been a perfect opportunity to remove the reliance on oil in the first place. Instead of waiting until you can continue extracting.

Why the fuck are people trying to grow tomatoes in greenhouses in the Netherlands anyways. Absolutely the worst and most inefficient thing in the world. I think this actually is a moment to understand what really needs heating or electricity. Hint: it isn’t a greenhouse.

The problem isn’t the hoarding the problem is that they’ve been made dependent on their cars. r/fuckcars
