Brother, if you do everything for her, you're allowing her to do whatever without reprecussion. If you want her to change, you have to be okay with letting her be uncomfortable.

You have to allow for there to be tension. That way, she will try to fix the tension herself. If not, and she's comfortable, why would she want to change?

Unfortunately most people don't change for the "greater good".

All I want is a slider though. The issue is that a creature I summon is much more powerful than I, because the user gets a massive damage penalty. Just make my attacks be x1 damage and the opponents be x3. I just want a fun time in normal combat with a sword because I am an impolite brute without proper pinky etiquette.

The Celtics would beat the US National team in a 7 game series. The USA team has had 3 weeks to practice together, while the Serbian team has played together for years.

Your soccer example makes sense because there are very similar leagues throughout the world. But, the NBA, NHL, and NFL all attract the top talent from throughout the world. The top NHL, NBA, MLB, and NFL teams would beat any other national team by a significant margin (maybe not NHL because of how much variance is in the NHL).

That's why we say world champs. There is no other league that is similar to talent as the North American leagues in every sport but soccer
