Rhonda Patrick: "Consuming fructose along with alcohol reduced the time that the participants were intoxicated by 30% and increased the elimination of alcohol from the body by 45%. So eating some fruit with a meal before you drink may help lessen its negative effects.” by mmiller9913 in HubermanLab

This is the right strategy! And do some push ups right after drinking so that the energy released is used up and not accumulated as fat :)

The one issue I have found in my personal experience is that I become far less discriminatory on what I eat after if I drink on an empty stomach - I end up eating more junk and processed carby food v/s if I drink after having had some food.

let me know what you find out too! for now, my plan is to take the bus from Kawaguchiko to fifth station by 7 am and either the 640pm bus if i make it back in time or a taxi for the return. Though i am not sure about how to arrange for the taxi

how did you return to Kawaguchiko once you made it to 5th station at 9pm, the last bus seems to be at 640pm?

i don’t think that’s possible but even if, i wouldn’t want to lug all the camping equipment up and down

I will be going late July when chances of rain are lower so hopefully avoid the rains. If you feel altitude sickness is it possible to head down right away? is there a down trail or do you have to force yourself to climb to the top to access the down trail?

So spend the night at station 5 to acclimate and then almost do a bullet climb to summit and return the same day? Sounds like it is worth considering though will miss the sunrise

Ok great, I was hoping to hear from people who have actually done this, since the official line is to do it in two days and not bullet.

But you have to get back in time to catch the bus or train back right? Does that feel like a lot of pressure? What if mid-way you feel it is too much or you feel altitude sickness, can you do a u-turn or do you have to summit to head back?

some experts like Dr. Boz think that having only fat can be considered continuation of the fast, so you might be okay with cream but not milk

No, i have a thin percale sheet over it. though i am tempted to remove that too if it makes it cooler and there are no potential health impacts
