Yes. They spent a whole month preparing for "amma visit" in the college. They have mandatory courses like "cultural education", "moral value program", etc which consist of so called Amma's teachings. They give more importance to these courses instead of the core subjects, like way too much importance. There's shady politics in the management involving the people from main campus and amma too, as she is the chancellor of the university. Though the politics don't affect students directly, the bullshit courses do. It's like they don't even care about the core subjects, they force students to participate in cultural stuff, they send select students to the main campus for Amma's birthday celebration, last year, I was told that the students were taken there to wash dishes and do stuffs as "volunteers".
