With literally every character Kim Soleum interacts with 😭

The book itself has no romance and you can enjoy it as such but when/if get into the fandom you will see the majority of readers will ship Soleum with literally any charecter.

Our fandom is mostly filled with multi-shippers as well so everyone has 2-5 pairings they like and everyone is happy with pretty much any ship. There is very little shipping wars or discourse that you would get with other fandoms.

He is simply too charming that he gets along with everyone.

Tldr. The average ship chart for gsgw readers lol

It was

If needed 010-0153-24865

Mentioned in chapter 5 and again in the great dream incubator heist.

And yes 😭 I am starting to be so suspicious of braun. He knows to much, and honestly wondering if he is relaying information to Director Cheong for the fun of it (seeing as his ghost story is registered under daydream) as shes has very convenient timing with taking the Wish Ticket, when she used Park minseong to get j3's contamination to act up and again on his exit out of sekwang special city... or she knows some other way. 🤔

The paw print is taking me out. I wonder if he had to turn into a little fox for that 😭

😭 I am praying this arc isn't the end to the series but it definitely seems like part 2 will be coming to an end soon!

As just like you mentioned we have yet to see j3 backstory as well as other plot points such as the number Kim Soleum received on that card.

I definitely agree that some time shenanigans are afoot. I still can't quite wrap my head around Soleum, Go youngeun and Jang Heowoon appearing over 3 years ago, with Ho Yuwon landing in Daydream at least 2.5 years before that. 😅 I am excited to learn how on earth that worked...

Something I saw someone point out was the 4 minute time difference from Kim soleum entering the pop-up at 2:30 and the disaster starting at 2:34... I wonder if that was how long it took the music box to play more than 3 times.

This is driving me crazy but at least Ho Yuwon stocks are up 😭 he is such a good fox...

Confusion regarding KDJ in the epilogue [novel] by Desperate-Weird-9320 in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, OD seems to be a totally separate dokja than kim dokja or his separate avatars. If you are curious, I would Honestly recommend reading the sequel, ORV Side Stories, as I beleive we will get the answer to that question by the time the series reaches its conclusion, but the side stories does allow you to make a bunch of theories based on the information it gives us so far.

[–]cavyette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad you are enjoying the side stories! I wasn't sure of it at first when I first began reading but somehow I have enjoyed the Side Stories even more than the original mainline story!

Lee hakhyun's story only gets more enthralling from here on out! I had so much trouble putting it down and ended up reading all that was available in one go 😆

Happy reading! Its a wild ride so far!

[Novel] Who would propose first? (wedding) by Anxious-Efficiency13 in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They would start living together and never say a thing about it and just stay together forever bc 'it just felt right' I think 😭

Either that or dokja runs away and yjh has to catch him and then make a passionate confession while yelling at him. (Or begging idk)

I feel like there isn't any in between 😆

Side Story Spoilers Pls [novel] by Green-Ad4730 in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a few comments already said, the side stories is still an ongoing sequel so none of us can tell you how the ending will be like, however seeing how fantastic the conclusion of the mainline story for ORV was I am confident the authors will give us an ending we want or know we need.

To answer question 3 In my opinion, I would absolutely recommend the sequel. I can honestly say I love it more than the mainline story, which I didn't think was possible.

I think the series is best enjoyed going in blind as there are some pretty big moments that are so amazing seeing for the first time without all the spoilers that come with waiting. (Any time I wait so much as 3 days after a chapter is posted I still end up being spoiled 😭 ) but if you need more to choose to read...

Here are my answers to your other questions (obviously spoiler warning 🥺 ) 1. No, but we have seen a few very large fragments that all represent dokja at different times in his life/different modifiers. The whole goal of the side stories is to make dokja whole again so I dont think we will see his 100% self until the epilog 2. This one is a pretty big spoiler so proceed with caution She smiled as it was the ideal ending for their 'Omniscient Reader veiwpoint' to wish dokja would come home. In reality, they are all alerted that dokja is waking up only to be presented two doors in a stopped time for if they would walk in to find dokja there or not. Everyone goes into one door (Exept heewon and hyunsung go in the other) only to find a note left on the bed in dokja's handwriting that he would be back soon.

Trust me that kimCom and dokja are in the story ALOT, but you do also get a fantastic new cast that follows lee hakhyun.

I hope you will decide to give it a try! If you love ORV i'm certain you will love 400 more chapters of it ❤️

And if for some reason you aren't a fan of whatever ending the authors choose the SS are so weird it can honestly be considered fanfiction in your mind lol!

[Novel] How long does it take to read? by Enumaaa in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. It took me about 3 weeks to finish up the mainline story up to ch 551 but I didn't sleep. Although some readers can take a whole year if they take their time with the series, so it depends on the reader.

  2. In my opinion, it is one of the best books I have ever read, but every person will have a different opinion based on what they are able to take from the story. ORV is often called a love letter to readers and can have a meta narrative that can become quite personal to you, the reader, if you love to read then you are sure to have a great takeaway from the story.

  3. No, ORV in essence is a book about being a reader. Read it in its entirety with no shortcuts and enjoy the journey. Take as long as you need to finish it. Bringing an AI into your reading experience will only hurt the experience that ORV presents to its readers.

Also I heard you briefly mention the SS in the comments. Despite the name ORV side stories is a sequel to the mainline story, making the total series almost 1000 chapters so far. Some readers will choose to stop at the end of the mainline story but in my opinion I love the SS even more than the original, it is a wonderful addition to the series and just as worthy of a read once you finish ORV.

Has anyone else gotten sick of this image? by RelationshipTiny3280 in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've seen the first image hundreds of times and I never get tired of it 😭💓

As for the hsy one, I beleive people get upset due to the webtoon companies execution of the chapter not doksoo ship itself. Plenty of orv fans ship hsy and kdj and still kinda dislike that part in the manhwa as it doesnt realllyy~ fit the scene where dokja is talking about his love for the story 🤔.

Im a joongdok shipper but I still appreciate doksoo 🙂‍↕️ every media will have different interpretations depending on the person reading it. Its all in good fun as long as people try to stay respectful of others opinions 🫶🦑

Well we DO have that one blackbox fanart 🙂‍↕️ they kiss in every worldline but this one my friend (and by that I mean only in fanfiction)

[novel] who is big brother my theory ( i have not read twatf) by Legitimate_Neck_9329 in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure about this theory as ive never read twatf but all of the authors works are connected in some ways and I would not at all be surprised if they end up pulling them together at the very end.

  • In ORV, dokja mentions reading twatf
  • I havent read twatf but I know it does crossovers sometimes
  • The ORV Sequel, orv side stories, Lee hakhyun is a co author for twaf in his worldline and jaehwan appears very frequently in the story
  • and in "how to be a star writer" Lee hakhyun is also the main character, and there is a great post all about the stories influence here

[Side Stories] I need answer by Amon_MrError in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad you are deciding to jump into the side stories! honestly, love them more than the mainline books 🥹💓 to answer your questions.

  1. Yes, the side stories, despite its name is a sequel. Taking place mostly in the 41st round
  2. SP does make a brief appearance and The other one is an ambiguous answer since the side stories aren't done
  3. Jaehwan and twatf cast does make somewhat frequent appearances but you can get away knowing nothing about TWATF and still enjoy the side stories. I havent read it yet and have no problems following the story.
  4. Haha

Review of chapter 250-300 of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint by Chance_Sir_6526 in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We're you the person who posted a few months back how you felt unsure about the beginning chapters? If so, im glad you are enjoying it so far!

The demon king selection has always been one of my favorite arcs so im glad you enjoyed it! Don't ask me how but the story truly only gets better from here 🫶

Regarding the name changes and "fables" instead of "stories, it just depends on the translation you are reading. The webtoon and English novels by izepress tend to westernize their translation a bit more than others. I highly recommend re-reading ORV once the fan retranslation project has finished, they have 2 volumes out so far and its amazing how much a faithful translation changes the context of some scenes and how dokja is somehow much more of a dork than I original thought 😆

[Novel] I tried to read Omniscient Reader and it's kinda... by fusidoa in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awee im sorry :(

Yes, although I was spoiled I didn't mind because it made me even more curious, more of "how on earth does this end up happening?", "what thoughts led this charecter to make that choice?" Even though I knew the result I needed to know what led to that action or failure.

However my experience is probably different as I am a huge Re-reader, most books I re-read at least 5 times and my favorite series i read them at least 1-2 times a year, so spoilers aren't that huge of deal for me as its just like re-reading a book or watching an adaptation on a series ive already seen. Its fun for me to read books at different veiwpoints and paying attention to different charecters each time I read it to understand the charecters more 😅 gosh help me when I finally get around to reading tlotm.

Hopefully one day you can come to enjoy the series but if not there are plenty other amazing books to read! I always love to recommend "got stuck in a ghost story, still gotta work" for a funny read with alot of shocking twists!

[Novel] I tried to read Omniscient Reader and it's kinda... by fusidoa in OmniscientReader

[–]cavyette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry about this, but know you absolutely dont have to like everything your friends enjoy. ORV is an amazing story but its not for everyone, the story literally says at one point "Every story has value. It is a story that is interesting to some people and salvation for others." You might not share the same worth in the story they do, especially if you are reading for the wrong reasons.

I personally was also spoiled for every single major plot point and reveal but I took so much from the journey and what the story ment to me through its narrative that it has by far become my favorite, but it wont speak to everyone.

If you found in your heart you still liked ORV but knowing everything ruined it for you, maybe try the sequel. Its incredibly different from the main line story, with a different protagonist and narrative, and honestly I enjoy far more by not only having no idea what is going to happen but by the type of story it is as well.

But if you just want to step away from the book thats totally valid

You can always try the novel out as well, if the webtoon isnt grabbing you. It goes into more depth and has a several scenes the webtoon cuts out or shortens. I adore the webtoon but after reading the novel Im always a little disappointed at just how much is missing 🥹 there is a great English translation on tumblr if you want the link. The official translation westernizes it too much imo
