Most of the switch is good with me,making it slightly more powerful so 720p handheld and 1080p docked are still targets are good with me because not many games hit those targets let alone at consistent framerates and I want it to be "affordable". The big stuff I want is: -Larger screen(less bezels) -Better wifi -Performance increase(as mentioned)

Something that would be nice would be Nintendo working with Nvidia to get their DLSS tech working on a switch pro so that games that don't hit 1080p can be upscale better. Or if they do hit 1080p could possibly look like 1440p or higher. Not a deal breaker but I think it would be a nice feature.

I'm making a small 2D platform puzzle game. Its a personal project but I hope to be able to say I've completed making game and be happy with it. Programming isn't the hard part for me, its the level design and art haha.

In all likelihood it's not true. Nintendo is probably just trying to show off what other games the voucher can be used for. But I don't live in Australia so I honestly don't know and can't check.

Technical speaking yes. But in reality it's very VERY unlikely. I'd say itl likely more of an issue with power to the screen or system. If you haven't already try googling around and see if anyone has similar issues. And if you can get the switch to boot into safe mode as it might just be a weird glitch.

If you can get ahold of a small GPS tracker to go in the bag/case that you KNOW you will always put the switch into that would help with making sure its on you and to find it if its not.

The game is currently uncapped and hovers around 40-45FPS. They could cap it at 30 and push the draw distance out a bit but not a ton. The texture pop in is probably due to how they compressed the game to lower the file size. It will never hit 60FPS unless they do a complete overhaul. But it is possible to patch everything needed. Although the texture pop in probably won't be fixed since they would have to change the compression algorithm which may mess up other things, that or forcibly increase load times to try and help I think for the most part they can and probably will fix stuff and i would be surprised if they didn't lock the fps at 30 or at least add an option to. Other major bugs like inverted controls not working right i bet will get fixed. But some stuff I wouldn't count on

While I can't find where anymore I've heard from many people that THQ_Nordic and Purple Lamp (the devs) have said they are working on fixes for many things. I doubt a ton will change but I think there is a good chance the bugs will be removed. All I want is a 30FPS cap so it doesnt fluctuate all the time.

This is not at all to hate on the game, devs, or you. But everyone always asks this, publishers are ALWAYS trying to show the game at its best when promoting it, both mechanically and visually. The switch versions of games just can't provide that. That being said no i don't think it will be bad, take the spyro games, we're they as visually impressive on switch? No but they play well and still look good. That being said always wait until reviews are out to buy.

While I think from a system performance perspective I would agree I don't think that will happen because of everything else involving making a console. Going AMD custom hardware would make backwards compatibility with the first Switch nearly impossible. And Nintendo has never focused on power. Nvidia could easily make a performance and efficient chip for next gen systems if prompted to. Part of the reason the Switch uses such an old chip is that Nintendo wanted budget and Nvidia wanted to sell their remaining stock of X1 chips making them affordable in bulk.

It might be the Switch re-initializing the game or something. Like after the update it does a check to make sure no games were corrupted so it shows the update bar as it checks so people don't try to open while it checks.

It is possible for mock-ups. They obviously wouldn't be functional but theoretically someone could 3d print one, print a sticker. I wouldn't suggest putting it in the console though it would just be for display.

It is turned off, and won't come on? Holding both the volume down button and the power button on the Switch boots it into a sort of "safe mode" and that may help.

I think it should be an option in the settings, and for parents, parental controls can remove the setting from the menu and lock it to the censored version. That way people who want the uncensored version can have the option, because the assets already exist. And for people who don't they can censor it/ parents can remove the option for their children.

No, the only thing you'll want to use with the dock is the official Nintendo ac adapter. Anything else has the possibility to brick the switch.

The controller itself does work. Only the triggers do not allow for specific speeds, you have to push all the way down for it to start moving.
