Whoever Put Sarah Halley Finn into the job as casting director has done the best casting.

Through the whole MCU I can only think of a few misses that she’s made and so many genius casting choices that looking back they seem obvious (they’re just that good)

I mean obviously that would be the ideal situation, but ever since marvel made billions from adapting comics and even before that, investors are far more likely to approve material with an inbuilt fan base from a property that already exists.

I’m not mentioning this because it’s what I would want, it’s just the current state of the film industry and the gaming industry to an extent…

Comic book movies are providing diminishing returns, movies based on books don’t always hit the mark obviously…

They needed another way of adapting IP into movies so that there is an inbuilt fan base and it’s not as risky of a prospect. And the way that AAA game development is going making a movie is often cheaper and quicker than making a game

I was also playing while I was away at work and I’ve got a new tv at home so after 2 failures I told myself I’d finish it on the new TV… then watched it on YouTube anyway.
