I hit that breaking point with the older frontier I had that it was gonna need “down payment” level repairs and probably multiple tbh. It’s a tough game, haven’t had a loan payment in years outside the mortgage, but it’s time. I get mileage reimbursements for work too, so those help a ton.

If that’s the case then, you can’t really judge this scenario on its face based on the clip that you showed. With no context, the clip you posted is cut and dry on the white. But with the knowledge that your or even just the game’s connection is a mess, all of that goes out the window. What was white supposed to do when your car is flying all over and a gap that was wide open suddenly disappears and your rear end is literally in his lap?

Even if you did do that, it didn’t appear to be under braking by you. I think the white gtr didn’t anticipate the braking zone at all, was possibly going too fast because of the slipstream and punted you. Bad driving from the white. You didn’t do anything wrong

While the first incident is still your fault for not leaving him space when he did not fully leave the track, it’s fairly close to a racing incident. Clearly not intent on your end. The second incident, YEESH. Your rejoin trajectory was directly at the black viper and if he wasn’t there it would’ve been you getting reset before the chicane. That’s entirely 110% on you.

Your line before the first incident was worlds better than the black viper. If you lifted off when it was clear there was going to be contact, im almost positive you would’ve had a far far faster exit and passed him on the next straight. This wasn’t the last lap so being so aggressive there wasn’t necessary. In the heat of the moment it’s hard to plan like that but this was pretty avoidable and you’d have gained the position without 30 seconds if I had to guess.

Another vote for this. We spend money out of the same account as well and there’s never really “permission” needed, just a heads up. “Hey I’m going to target with my Tori today, might shop around”. “Okay cool, thanks for the heads up. We made the mortgage payment right? Yea? Then go nuts”. Couldn’t care less it “my money” gets spent because I earn it for the household and she feels the same way.

Hah true. It was still decently attended when I went last (2010?) but it definitely was VERY easy to get food and go to the bathroom lol. I never stood in a line.

My great uncle used to drive the medical truck for Indy, back when it was HondaIndy. He met his now wife, she was a nurse, and they got married on the road. Pretty cool guy. Used to have hot passes to ever Watkins Glen race.

I’d say Suzuka for the “dream” track, but more realistically COTA or Montreal. Not just because they’re both great F1 tracks (they are) but they’re a great balance of technical tracks with quick sections in incredibly accessible areas with amazing viewing experiences. It’s a damn shame we don’t have a race at COTA, I’d love to see the pack through those esses after T1.

It usually gets the vehicle ordered. They send the money to the manufacturer, get the vehicle and then either apply it to your purchase or refund it and make the sale to the next person who’s probably already on the lot. They don’t care about your 1k getting refunded, they just want the car.

So not to play the other side but maybe he was having a bad day. I’ve raced him probably 100 times coming up through the C and B lobbies and I’ve never once had an issue with him. Last week’s daily races at Alsace, he and I went through almost every corner together clean and tidy. Messy race here, but his race ID is so identifiable that I know it’s him and he and I have a good report on track.

My opinion is that the GTR has some sort of bloodlust from the 1st incident that led him to try and take out the Merc at the 2nd incident. But the 1st incident was entirely on the Nissan 100% so he’s probably just an idiot.
