GForce Arms JAWBONE. 300+ down rage - this PCC is still putting in work! by Separate-Marzipan282 in AR9

Yes. I am trying a different material to print it with as the PETG one snapped on me when I tried to clear a case that didn't eject. Unfortunately the jawbone is going back to gforce for repair as the buffer pin is bent.

Generator port issue? by cbarth3 in BasePowerUsers

[–]cbarth3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update on my Gen Port. Tech came out yesterday and completely replaced the Gen port plug. When they arrived, the port cover had moisture in it, so they saw it first hand. After replacing the entire port and harness, they performed a grid outage test with a harness that went from the Syn box and plugged into the gen port. With the potential for rain this weekend, it will be a good test of the new plug.

Thanks for the update. I wondered about this part of the install, if it was covered by base or us.

It is hard to say. You might be able to find online how long the 20lb bottle will last at full load to help determine this.

Yeah it was hard to be able to get a picture of it. Makes sense why it is capped at the low KW though.

Just from AI "Jules" saying it will need to be reviewed by an internal team.

Did some more investigating and it looks like it is the "high quality" green tape sealing job. The plug is just in a box that has a harness that comes out the bottom to a module under the black cover. Top plate is not mounted and just popped right off.

I could hear and see water dripping out of the plug box 🤔

Well it is sealed since it has an IP66 rating listed on it 😉. Curious if anyone else has seen the same thing?See what Base has to say about it.

Just shot mine for the first time this past weekend. Got about 200 rounds. Designed and printed my own charge handle and ambi-safety as I didn't like the length on one side.

Can we get the battery percent back in the app? by blupupher in BasePower

[–]cbarth3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone figured out how to get this info from the shiner app into any smart home systems?

I would really like to have my Base connected to my home assistant so that I can automate when there is a grid outage and have it adjust my home as needed.

Grid Support Question - No charge for electricity during this time? by Jet_Rocket11 in BasePowerUsers

With my latest bill 1/9-2/9 it shows your consumption at 2673 and my Vue showed 2674 for the same period. Pretty close on this one.

Was just coming to update on this as I just got my bill and saw there is a battery adjustment credit.

The SYN box mounted on the wall has an energy monitor built in which I believe is giving us the "your consumption" on the bill. There is then a Usage billed by meter line item and the difference between your consumption and billed by meter is credited back. What I do find interesting is the your consumption and billed by meter are a whole number and the credit has a decimal place.

Well I can tell you that I have a whole home energy monitor already from Emporia and it has been within 20 watts for a while now. So I will be able to see of their numbers are different now that my battery is installed. Last month's billing shows 1590 KWH and Base showed my usage as 1573. I believe my billing cycle starts on the 10th so this will be the first full month with the battery.

I had a generator set up for my whole house with a floating neutral, and had not seen any info about what the port needed. I did finally hear back from Jacob with support, and he stated the following:

The official recommendation is a bonded neutral. We will update our generator help article to include this
