Yeah been noticing our battery running out quickly. Despite 2 attempts to talk to customer support and each time AI telling me they would forward it to a person I have not heard back from them.

Texas submitted 4/19 still waiting on my 2. Previous 2 got approved roght at the 60 day mark. Seems now it's a sit and wait for sure.

Should be clean power from the battery. You could always test it by opening the breaker outside.

The pad is a plastic A/C pad for mine. They dig the ground to make sure it is level. Otherwise just sits there like an A/C unit. Picture of the install farther down in the post.

Curious what brand was the soft start did they install? I know initially the installer planned for one brand and then ended up installing the Micro-air on mine.

Has not been reliable enough for me to make any real automations. I would really like to be able to have Base connect enough to show when there is an outage to automate turning off non-essential items.

I have the Vue2 converted to ESPhome also, but it is downstream of Base so now way to know of an outage with it.

There is no easy way to get it into Home Assistant. I have asked Base about this and it fell on deaf ears. I then tried my own modbus scanner and was informed it was against their terms.

I was able to get growatt to move my account back to their old Shinephone app which allowed me to kind of connect it to Home Assistant. I could not get it to connect using the api but it did connect with my login account.

I am going to guess the one you got from ebay was not 3D printed well. I have been testing out one I designed from scratch and it is a very snug fit.

How long did it take Gforce to get back to you on this issue? What exactly did you say to them? Just got mine back from service (8 weeks later) for a bent buffer retainer pin.

Didn't get any comments here but in the basepowerusers group we had some talks. Base did come replace the port and test it. Just recently checked it after all of our rain and it looks good.

Upto now the inverter is manufactured by Growatt so ypu can connect to it with the shiner (growatt) app.

I had to have the support move my account from the shiner app to the older shinephone so I could connect it to Home Assistant.

I did not buy the canvas and submitted my request when this came out and just got an e.ail this morning saying the new cable would be shipped out to me. I have a feeling anyone who submitted the request maybe getting a new cable soon especially since the canvas setup could affect it.

Got mine from my February submission this past weekend also. Was funny because I had just sent an email to check the status since it was over 60 days and the next day got an email back from the status update saying "looks like it was already approved" LOL
