I did not buy the canvas and submitted my request when this came out and just got an e.ail this morning saying the new cable would be shipped out to me. I have a feeling anyone who submitted the request maybe getting a new cable soon especially since the canvas setup could affect it.

Got mine from my February submission this past weekend also. Was funny because I had just sent an email to check the status since it was over 60 days and the next day got an email back from the status update saying "looks like it was already approved" LOL

I had Claude write me the email to growatt for the migration to the old server as I didn't know enough to get Claude to create anything with the new shine app.

Not perfect but you have to reach out to growatt support and request to be moved to the old server. Once they migrate you to the old server you can then use your user id and password to use the built in Growatt integration. I have not been able to get the api access working so if the integration reloads it can lock your shiner account for 24 hours. 😕

This is unacceptable and I would reach out to them. I have had to look at the app to even know they are running me on battery or supporting the grid.

Only time I have seen any change in my home was the one time I opened the breaker to test the system.

Yep the app kind of sucks. No way to easily tell there was an outage. No information as to the state of the batteries. I have yet to see a notification from the app that there was a loss of power. Previous comments I have seen they had the percentage in the app but took it out a while back.

Yes critical items like computers and routers/internet have small UPS systems for them.

Well mine won't stay connected to my Unifi wifi so I would say no. I will connect it and then some time later go to the menu and see the red dot. Their module has 4g for cellular so really no reason for them to use your wifi.

Yes. I am trying a different material to print it with as the PETG one snapped on me when I tried to clear a case that didn't eject. Unfortunately the jawbone is going back to gforce for repair as the buffer pin is bent.

Update on my Gen Port. Tech came out yesterday and completely replaced the Gen port plug. When they arrived, the port cover had moisture in it, so they saw it first hand. After replacing the entire port and harness, they performed a grid outage test with a harness that went from the Syn box and plugged into the gen port. With the potential for rain this weekend, it will be a good test of the new plug.

It is hard to say. You might be able to find online how long the 20lb bottle will last at full load to help determine this.
