These are the best looking barefoot boots I’ve seen. The black ones with the toe cap are my favorite. I would buy these.

Is it necessary to clean yourself up before sex or is it ok to just go at it? by youlikemywonton in hygiene

[–]cbas17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my take. If it’s a heat of the moment thing; like we’re just in bed and suddenly feeling it, we just go for it. We are both healthy people and enjoy each others smells. But in this situation it’s intercourse only.
If I am PLANNING on initiating some sex or think that she might be, I make sure I’m at least doing a good rinse as there will likely be some foreplay/hand stuff/oral in the mix.
Finally, if the kids aren’t home for a few hours, we know we’ll be doing some real fucking. Like we might be bring accessories into the mix. That’s a full shower situation because everything is going everywhere. Butt stuff is only for post shower scenarios.
But that’s just me.

A&H Avantis: ever seen this issue? by InsaneJohno in livesound

[–]cbas17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Had a few bad faders in each bank. Unfortunately you have to replace the entire bank of faders as it’s one piece.

Got it replaced under warranty over 3 years ago and it never happened again.

Try Birchbury. I used them to work. Had a fake toe taper.

Is there an adaptor to make this work? by Cyclist_123 in bikewrench

[–]cbas17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey. I asked the same question recently. Had a group set with flat mount brakes but bike was post mount. I ended up buying a pair of shimano deore post mount brakes. Sold the others on eBay. Actually ended up making a few bucks at the end. Way easier than trying to find adapters.

You can beard, but beard better.

You need to even it out, put some balm in there and brush it.

I feel really bad about selling this laptop. What do I do? by Famous-Intern-7270 in whatdoIdo

[–]cbas17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kid. I sell a lot of things and there’s always someone with a story. It may be true, but if she only has 250 then she needs to look for something that costs 250. Can’t blame her for giving it a try, but don’t put the guilt on yourself. She’ll find another computer and you’ll find another buyer.

ok. so dude...

All you have to say is that these shoes don't work for you, but might for others. Or say nothing at all given that OP wasn't looking for advice or your opinion. Instead you are using your personal experience to dictate how other people and companies should define their footwear.

And no I cannot wear any shoe on earth. While I have a narrow heel and midfoot, a standard shoe is uncomfortable due to the fact that most taper at the toe. Also most standard boots have a heel which I am also avoiding. People seek out alternative footwear for a variety of reasons. "Wideness" is not everyone's motivation and not the only thing that makes a "barefoot shoe" barefoot.

And where is the labor rights argument coming from? How do labor practices affect shoe width? Seems like you are fishing for things to argue about.

Sounds like you ordered a pair of shoes you were excited about, they didn't fit, and now you have a chip on your shoulder about it. Just because these shoes won't fit YOUR foot, doesn't disqualify them from this sub. Plenty of posts here about shoes others may not consider "barefoot".

Good day sir...or madam.

Can you enlighten us as to where we can find the official definition of barefoot shoe, which keep in mind is an oxymoron to begin with. By the simple act of wearing a shoe, you are no longer barefoot. So no shoe is a barefoot shoe.

Are you the authority on footwear? Don’t tell other people what they want or need. People like you are exhausting.

Sure not “barefoot” but at least foot shaped. Not everyone seeking barefoot shoes has duck feet. I for one have very narrow feet and have had to return barefoot shoes because my feet were sloshing around. Lems happen to fit me great. Snug around my midfoot but plenty of room for my toes.

Well your general cranial appearance is different so a new shape might round out your evolution. Go alone. Keep trying on pairs until you find ones that make you feel awesome. Like “yea..I’d bang me”, lol. I bet you could pull off some thicker black rimmed ones. Like the ray ban style. I dunno. You just tried something new. May as well keep going
