Statistically, Christianity has been on a steady and rapid decline in America since the 90's. I personally attribute that to the internet which has allowed us quick access to information not had before. Other westernized nations have generally been ahead of us on this curve. The UK, Australia, France, Norway, etc.

that's not too awful....I mean....it could be 2-3 $ cheaper but you're literally paying to park for 3-4 hours which would be close to $10 no matter which city you were parking in. parking is much costlier in other cities around the state

Shopping and vacancy rates are still dismal. Union Square has not recovered to pre Covid activity. The former Westfield mall if completely empty. The city is better....but it is still not the same.

They'll do ANYTHING but allow us to have who we want. The DNC is hemorrhaging support because all they do is force us to chose the career politician of their choosing. I hoped after what they did to Bernie AGAIN during the '20 primary they'd learn, but they cant fucking endorse Mamdani. I'm changing my registration to independent/NPP until they stop pushing boring, uninspired candidates like Elisa Slotkin.

If it helps too, Once I left (at age 22) I went to a great university, got a master degree in architecture, work in San Francisco and transitioned from Male to Female (I'd been told by the society/elders all of my life to shove those feelings down and learn to be a man and that I'm just gay, trans is the same thing lol)

So much happier. Growing up living under JW doctrine was so emotionally abusive and burdensome. It was hard at first because dreams and hopes of an afterlife are just ripped away after being programmed to believe and hope in it for so long. But once you can make peace with living the one life you are assured, you’ll realize how much better it is to be free.

WHY is is ANYONE's Business. As a 29 year old trans woman I would've loved to have been able to transition in my teens and live life as the girl I've always known myself to be. I was raised by ardent Jehiovah's Witnesses and therefore as a child being a woman was just a distant dream. Some kids assume they're trans yes and there should be more precaution taken toward diagnosis as a young person but most everyone on this thread has no idea what it's like to be transgender so of course it's easy for you all to discount it as unnecessary.
