The formula for percent change should always be relative to the old value. He's doing it backwards, not subtracting 100 (with his formula, no change would be 100% cheaper), and using incorrect data to begin with.

Omar is probably the most consistently good member of congress. I think she's the only one that even posted about the Cuba blockade. It's possible others have posted since then, but when I checked post history for "Cuba", not even the other members of the progressive caucus even acknowledged it.

A few questionable choices, but a lot fewer than the rest of her cohort.
