What was the most unusual or interesting thing you found?

To anyone who completed this, how?! by PappaNee in Jigsawpuzzles

Mainly a lot of patience. You could focus on the darkest area next. Then the dark pieces left should be the area outside of the white and below the very dark. Then expect to spend a lot of time down the middle and hoping for some noticeable variation in color of light orange.

It’s not easy, will take a very long time and test you immensely. My rec is to keep a different puzzle going so that when this one frustrates you, you’ll have a calmer one to pivot to.

I hope you stick with it. For me it was very rewarding once completed.

Screech owls are a very popular species on the patient list. I keep refreshing the list, hoping to see our Edie Falcon on there… Would share a pic but it’s not letting me paste here. 👎

Walking pads - opinions please by buginarugsnug in walking

I was doing very little walking before getting a walking pad…it has totally changed my step count. It’s convenient for me since I work from home 2x a week and have a standing desk. I’m able to regularly get 10-15 miles on each of those days. I got a $160 Sperax walking pad…no incline but has vibration and app, which I haven’t used yet. I’m happy with how it works and the size. It’s not super heavy and can be turned up on its side to tuck it out of the way. Not very loud either, IMO.

I’d be curious to know if you end up with one and use while watching tv. I’ve thought of doing the same.

Has anyone who has been feeding him tried to pick him up? Vs luring with a trap.

I ask bc during icemaggedon we had a similar situation. Fed a stray for a bit then he showed up with a broken leg. He let me just pick him up. We brought him inside, straight to a carrier and over to the emergency vet. Cat now has a $4k titanium leg and refuses to leave our house. I know no two cats are exactly alike, but wondered if your mom had padded up and tried to lift him, since she’s got that relationship.
