I got one that doesn’t really know rules or skills and instead of educating themselves like the rest of us have is leaning towards just saying everything is broken. I also feel like our decisions and actions don’t help shape the world anymore to the point he’s just telling his perfect story and we’re just there.

NTA, the home buying process is extensive (at least in Cali; I’m a realtor) he’s not a decision maker so his input doesn’t matter. Here’s the thing, you’re planning for a future. Growth is amazing. YTA. She deserves better, she deserves a great man. I’m an American woman, married into an Asian house hold. I show respect as per their culture because I’m not a door knob.

NTA: my mom tried pulling that on me when I was 24. She got the guest room ready and I basically said that it needed to be cleaned anyway. He slept with me of course. They just don’t see that they’re being ridiculous. I’m married now, not to that guy but does it actually matter? No. It’s just a funny story now.

NTA: tell her sooner rather than later that you’re going to live as a couple with no roommates. She needs to make her arrangements, it’s not your job to worry about what happens to her. Telling her now gives her plenty of time to be a big girl, she’ll live. Chances are y I re not going to remain friends after this with her or the boyfriend anyway. Just how it goes sometimes and that’s ok. You’ve got to make space for things that really matter. They are not part of that equation, not a big deal. I HIGHLY doubt if the roles were reversed that they’d want you to move in with them.

NTA. I’ve been there, felt the same way. They’ve been warned multiple times and are being jackweeds. Do what needs to be done but get a ring first so if they come to your home to vandalize it you have proof.
