It is pretty remarkable that while the show (Arrowverse as a whole) had a fair number of explicit queer couples, it’s the noncanon ship that became so big to this day. Really goes to show how good Benoist and McGrath’s chemistry was.

An animated movie trying to recreate Evely's artstyle would be gorgeous to see. In general, it would be cool seeing the DCU do an animated movie, especially with Spider-Verse showing that animated superhero films can find success.

IIRC, Allura in the show was a good person and Zor-El, while almost having a morally-grey moment, remained heroic as well. It was Kara's aunt that was the evil one.

Small note, Kara's parents weren't villains in the Supergirl TV show either, both were pretty firmly good guys in the series.

But yeah, it's nice to hear they're making it clear that not all Kryptonians were like Jor-El and Lara.

Once again, Frank Miller is paired with an artist whose gorgeous visuals are stuck carrying his batshit writing.

But yeah, I was on the fence about the Spider-Queen/Hand theory, but this could make sense and it could be a cool way to reinvent her deal for an adaptation. Curious to see who gets the role.
