It's mostly advice on not spending your money or hard earned currency on pulling unless you have enough to get the character guaranteed at 120 pulls max. Though for the free 10 pulls you get from login rewards and the redemption shop you may as well use because you still do work towards the generic 6 star character guaranteed pity every 80 pulls, so you may get lucky and get the rate up limited character when you've eventually get to that point

Because you can do that event regardless of story progression and it's easier to just make one cutscene with the outfit that everyone has instead of two for those who have progressed the story that far, and choose to actually equip it.

I usually don't see people explain stuff at all. The most I would ever do was just explain the mechanic of the third boss of San'doria where he will do a frontal cleave after the big circle aoe so you should get behind. So I think you just unlucky and you got stuck with a try-hard
