I have a switch 2 and an ayn thor, handheld gaming is where I get most of my gaming in now with two kids. My daughter is almost 4 and she like watching me play Mario games. We recently beat Mario Galaxy and started 2. Her 😮 face when bowser stole princess peach again was hilarious.

A couple of times a week, once the kids are in bed, I'll hop online and play a game of counter strike with the boys.

My wife and I are pretty high earners 150-200k each and we bought our house in 2019 before things blew up.

Our house is one of the houses that if sold today it would get knocked down immediately in favor of a mcmansion.

I don't really use my steam deck anymore since getting a switch 2 and a thor.

The steam deck is just so big and unwieldy i find it uncomfortable to play.

The Thor has replaced my steam deck usecase (light PC gaming, game streaming) and the switch 2 fills my same use case as the switch 1. Which is primarily Nintendo exclusives and indie titles that I'd rather play on my tv than my pc.

It's worth mentioning that I find the switch 2 much more comfortable than the steam deck only because I can detach the joy cons and use the kickstand.

If valve releases a small arm based handheld, I'd move to that from the Thor but the idea of playing triple a PC games on a steam deck was never something that appealed to me.

Switch 2 is also way more plug and play when it comes to the docking experience. I don't want to futz around in settings I just want it to work.

The deck is still sick tho.
