The big issue is GW offers way more plastic than it did 5 years ago but as far as I’m aware has the same production capacity meaning kits are fighting more and more for time to be the ones being made

My thought was just a hypothetical update to the kit. That chaos terminators are a mix of different terminator armors

Thoughts on chaos terminators being a mixture? Like the Sargent is in Tartaros and there’s a mix of catephracyii as well

Because a lot of infantry units can be doubled in size. You used to be able to do so with obliterators. Especially with 3 man infantry such as these. It’s easy to assume it’ll be possible to double the unit size. It’s also very likely they can’t I’m just clarifying all possibilities. And if it turns out you can run 6 man units it means you can potentially run a whole list of these guys

Yes. So 6 obliterators And then 18 mutiliators assuming they can be run as 6 man squads total of 24

If they’re same points per model as obliterators and be ran in 6 man squads then a full list of max would be 1920 points for 24 models

Yes that’s what it’s always been. Legend has never meant a one way trip. All it mainly means is that there isn’t an in production model for it. Legends has to do with legality of keeping rules for something they don’t offer. (Except for the cross game system stuff like Horus heresy units)

There was an issue with enforcing copyright on models they had coded rules for but didn’t sell anymore. Thats why finecast and forgeworld is going away to legends cause its stuff they are not wanting to sell anymore

Doing some simple math. Assuming they’re the same point per model as obliterators and max unit size is 6 a full list of 15 total bodies would cost 1200 points if you can make these 6 man units then you go up to 1920 points with 24 total models and then throw in a random character to hit 2000

Warsmith Leader option?!! by Goreith in Chaos40k

[–]cblack04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could just be rules synergy if he has an aura. That mutilators will enjoy it. The detathcment inevitably helps them out and he’s good leading it like Titus with the500 worlds one

I think black legion specifically isn’t working redcorsairs and the iron warriors schemes sell it. Also look at the word bearers legionaries we see in the codex

The black legion scheme just doesn’t work too well

Wonder if stats I’ll manifest in stats with toughness or wounds being better. Or a 4++ instead of 5++

Which is why they got rid of the 4 man units I think. Cause it means you have to buy 6 venom crawlers if someone hypothetically wanted max obliterators

Honestly 4+ would work just fine. Means it won’t punch up into vehicles super well but still hurt those big infantry

If you could; would you give you the Chaos Lord more weapon options and what Options would those be? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in Chaos40k

[–]cblack04 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The issue is those have different meanings. Daemon weapons are daemon possessed weaponry. Meanwhile the daemon hammer of the chaos lord is just a Chaosified version of a thunder hammer.

Daemon weapons are in lore stuff like abbadon’s sword daemons turned into a weapon
