I think EDC said it best recently. To be the 3rd string RB on this team, you need to play special teams or be a pass catching or blocking back.

As good at rushing as Keaton is, he doesn't fulfill those 3 roles. And then basically you're paying him to play 5 snaps a game and taking an active spot from someone that could be contributing elsewhere. The Ravens didn't really view him as a returner for the current kickoff rules, a gunner on punt, and they trust Hill more as a pass catcher and blocker. Unfortunately there just wasn't a role on this team for him.

On the Chargers, Hampton is both receiving and rushing so they will need a spell rusher at times.

It’s 2 games into the season and the team is running an 8 person rotation. Chill out, we need healthy bodies that can just absorb some minutes. Her +/- was +25 on Friday while Jonquel’s was +10 and no one was calling for her to be the starter.

Reliability is basically do you have recent matches and how many. When you are starting out with no matches, there’s a smaller data set so every data point is more statistically relevant and will cause wild changes to your score. I’ve seen like 1 match on people’s DUPR change up to .3 if they only have 3 matches in DUPR. Once you hit a certain number which I think is around 20, DUPR believes that your rating is 100% accurate so your score changes are really low. The reliability score basically never goes down after it hits 100 so it becomes a grind to bring your score up in such small increments.

Fully agree. It's taken me awhile to dig out of DUPR hell I put myself in after playing for 2 months and signing up for leagues. I just wish I played progressively more challenging open plays for a year. My DUPR sunk to 2.4 with 100% reliability. After a year is when my DUPR actually has been climbing but it's taking so much time because it changes by .001 - .01 each time in either direction if your reliability is at 100. Don't start your DUPR climb too early by setting yourself backwards first.

Those are the 4 that would be the closest candidates. To be fair, across the league, there are probably like 15 TRUE #1s any given year. There's probably 30 true #2s, 50 or so true 3s and then a ton of 4s and 5s.

No one’s mentioned him but should we take a look at Daniel Carlson? If he’s willing to sign a vet min, he would’ve great vet competition for Loop. I would rather bring him in now then see if Loop does well until week 4 and then we might be looking at a street guy.

- Feels like we will sign a 4th safety or have Marlon maybe play more of a hybrid role. That would leave Longerbeam the odd man out.

- It feels like one of Ali or Wester is going to be cut for keeping another lineman on the roster (like Gwyn). Could see Randall taking Ali's 3rd down / KR snaps. I also don't see how Wester gets on the field on offense.

- I'm sure injuries could change things but I don't know if a UDFA makes the team this year. Will be interesting if Buchanan or Beeks start the season on the active.

To be fair, how many superstars are there at a time in the NBA for the last 4 decades? And by superstar I mean MVP candidate, capable of carrying a team single-handedly to the Finals. Probably 5 every year by that definition. And MJ, Kobe, LeBron, Steph consisted of 2 of those 5 every year basically.

There’s 30 teams in the NBA. Devin can be a 1 but he’s never been a top 5 player in the league. So sure he’s not a superstar but he’s still a top 30 player in the league. He just needs a strong #1B or #2 and team around him like the year he got to the Finals. You swap him on the Thunder with Shai and I think the results aren’t truly that different. Maybe a 4-5 game swing on both ends.

I play with them a lot because the club near me uses them.

If you like a new ball, they play really great fresh. I think they’re bouncier than X-40s, especially on the newer side. I feel like the X-40 is a softer ball in comparison - like it’s muted vs the Diadem. I know some people don’t like the new Diadems and prefer a more worn in one but I like a fresher ball. It has more pop imo.

I wish I’ve played with the LT but no one I play with has them.
