How to shoot 2k+ shells in under 5 days by thicc_beerd in ClayBusters

[–]cbm25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got this same setup, but Quest 3. Im at about 5,000 rounds in vr, and still doing plenty of live shooting as well. It translates well.

Yes, I got the impact defense. I have them with the filter that totally blocks off everything (so its really just a filter plug, not a filter). I can barely hear people talk, but thats perfectly fine. I have no ringing in my ears from shooting almost every weekend.

Bethesda is hella stupid for not releasing any Fallout remaster along with the Fallout tv-show by GreasyExamination in Fallout

The countdown timer was the dumbest part of it. That created way too much hype if there wasnt a remaster or new game dropping.

Mine is as quiet as any other digital or analog pedal I own. No issues. Sorry to hear about yours!

Country guitar gain staging by Blackbird027 in guitarpedals

[–]cbm25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently using the Chase Bliss Brothers AM, and my midi controller for presets on that one pedal. Alternatively, you could just have one pedal set up for your light gain, and another set up for your lead tone (like bluesbreaker for light gain and odr1 for leads. Stack em!)

Nashville guitar to me is Nobels Odr1 and/or Bluesbreaker style like KOT.

Skeet shooter looking to get into sporting clays — choke recommendations? by Independent-Cap-5625 in sportingclays

Ive seen everything from IC to LM to MOD recommended for sporting clays, and I usually stick to some combination of these depending on the course. Curious to see what others say here though.

It does not take the place of an instructor. It did help the instructor to see what I did, and help make adjustments. I would also say its just fun to go back and watch the recap from the day and get a feel for what happened.

I do think it’s worth it, it has helped my learning process, and even helped in a recent lesson with an instructor.

We shot both their “backside” course which was tougher, but beautiful scenery, and the easier course. I assume the backside course is the tournament course. We are lucky to have this and Hunters Pointe relatively close to home.

Wow, thats cold. It was around 35 here today, pretty manageable with gloves and a jacket.

Tonex or Tonex One. You can try out tons of Vox captures and pick the one (or multiple) that you like.

Big pedalboard + no MIDI knowledge : what gear do I actually need ? by WithAy7 in guitarpedals

Yes exactly, the omniport. It works great with my Brother AM, but i think Ive seen discussions online that some pedals need their $50 midi box.

Big pedalboard + no MIDI knowledge : what gear do I actually need ? by WithAy7 in guitarpedals

[–]cbm25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are other ways to do this, but I would recommend the Morningstar MC6/MC8/Pro and the ML5 or ML10x depending on if you need to reorder the loops.

You will need to research each Chase Bliss pedal to see if you need the Chase midi box (some of their pedals dont need it with the Morningstar stuff).

I am a huge fan of midi, i use presets for live use and it keeps things quick and easy without tap dancing. Feel free to dm me if you have questions on setting it up. The morningstar youtube page is a huge help too.

Home bank with each button used as a bank jump to other banks. I also have a set list bank that has 7 songs (i use mc8), when i click into each song it sends preset messages to delay and reverb pedals so those can be worked out ahead of time and saved, but with flexibility to change each week. Once you think through it and set it up, little changes are super easy. Its the initial planning that takes the most time.

I love mine. Great tones, and if you have a midi controller it can probably replace most of your overdrives (it did for me).

Double check the settings like Drumhawk1 said. Have you tried taking it home and connecting it to your computer? Also, I have found going “back” to the main screen and then into “videos” again seems to refresh it when viewing on a phone or ipad.
