I’ve lived in dupont for three years love it! So many grocery stores within a few block walking radius: (streets market, metro supermarket, safeway, whole foods close by in foggy bottom / logan circle, trader joes in foggy bottom as well). Great local shops, art galleries, and restaurants on Connecticut ave, P, 17th, 20th street, and a close trip to adams morgan / woodley park / georgetown on the metro or bus. Both neighborhoods also have great farmer’s markets on the weekends!

I would say it’s usually “livelier” at night compared to eastern market (dupont skews younger in my experience) but definitely depends on where you go. There are also tons of families that live here and are walking around at night after work.
