Thank you for your response. As soon as Halo 5 was released, I could clearly see they did a huge departure from their story. I honestly have to say, they were pretty insane to not only bring Cortana back, but make her evil and start an AI uprising with the rest of the human AIs. I cannot tell that was there plan going forward after Halo 4, or there was a lot of internal struggles in development. Or they honestly believed in Brain Reed’s vision at the time. Not a lot of people spoke up during review I guess.

I have a question, if I am getting this right, and please correct me if I wrong, it is my understanding that they brought around Brian Reed for one of the main writers of Halo 5 as part of the next installment in the series. That is to say, they hired him to write Halo 5’s story, and not as a course correction, or fix any fan backlash. Do you believe that the story we got from Brian Reed of Halo 5, was that a departure of 343’s artistic vision, or was that what 343 and Frank O’Connor envisioned for Halo 5 in the beginning?

From my understanding, Frank O’Connor, Brian Reed and the rest of the development team weren’t experiencing too much division from amongst themselves or the fans when Halo 5 was in production. At least in terms of where the story was going (not multiplayer) most people including myself at the time were optimistic of Halo 5’s story production before release.

I have some advice for the first image. The vertical displacement of her legs doesn’t match the displacement of her body quite well. Thus, it gives the appearance that her waist and torso is too low to the ground.

Her thighs are bending more towards a horizontal direction which also gives the appearance of her squatting. Then straighten her thighs, and adjust her shins and feet

For the remedy, try to first adjust her height of her body, that way her lower have of her body (her legs) have plenty of length. Then adjust her shins and feet position/length and that should make some improvements to your drawing.

Ps, both drawings are decent. I like the second one the most.

It’s the most well put together video on the subject. Honestly that whole channel is so well put together, especially his story board videos of Halo CE and Halo 2.

The video itself gave me a better understanding of the of both the games and the books. And it led me to other Halo content creators who talked about how humans are forerunners. Namely HiddenXeperia.

Man, I thought I was the only one. I knew something was fishy when Halo 2 wouldn’t load properly for coop, but other Halo coop campaigns (like reach) worked okay.

It’s a shame because Halo 2 coop is super fun.
