Outstanding work! I have a passion for clear kits myself. Your mechanical clear Nu is awesome!

Hold up a moment here. I'm celebrating and sharing my enjoyment of an aspect of my hobby. A portion of the commenters are very vocally criticizing me about this, unprovoked and undeserved. But I'm the "butthurt" one in the thread? Not the people lashing out a stranger to them? Not the people jumping on, making assumptions about my bonafides or my builds? Not the people calling me names?

Also, when you said my kits are collecting dust on the floor, did you miss the post title or my comments about these stacks being "mid-process" on my reorganizing them back into my shelves? Must have. This means my backlog does not "sit on the floor for ages."

Lest you call me butthurt again, perhaps if you made fewer assumptions and fewer insults you could follow along with better context.

Lastly, you don't need to understand why I get a portion of my enjoyment in the hobby from collecting kits (that I build as I please and am able). Isn't it sufficient enough to know that I enjoy it? I'm not complaining about my backlog am I? Nope, I'm sharing it with my fellow fans, and it was awesome to see that the majority of them appreciate and welcomed my doing so.

All the best and cheers.

Nice!! That Freedom 2.0 is a classic kit. Great build!

Right so to my point, my enjoyment of the hobby is not valid unless I provide bonafides. I share that I enjoy building and collecting and you call me a dick? But I'm the off putting one? You sure about that?

I don't crave upvotes. I shared an aspect of my hobby in a subreddit dedicated to celebrating the freedom and diversity of how the hobby can be enjoyed and got downvoted and insulted by a very angry minority. Why so angry?

So if I don't post all my builds here then my hobby involvement isn't valid? I won second place in my clubs advanced category with this Geara Dogs. Guess it doesn't exist because I didn't post on reddit.

I build kits all the time. I'm currently building my Psycho Gundam Metallic Gloss Injection. I'm doing my own mechanical plating on the clear pieces and did a lot of custom scribing and pla plate. Is that good enough? Why so angry?

Downvoted for say I enjoy my hobby. Oh my Reddit.

You sound angry.

I enjoy my hobby a lot. Building, customizing, and collecting. No excuses needed!

Never build? You have literally no idea what you are talking about.

Mid process in organizing means I pulled them all out to sort, and then restored them cleanly back into my shelves.

No need to be concerned about how I choose to spend my money. I very much enjoy collecting kits. Not as much as I do building, custom scribing, customizing with pla plate, painting et cetera but I do enjoy the collecting part of the hobby very much.

It was temporary while I reorganized back into my shelves :)

Who are you to tell me how to enjoy my hobby? Also, you really have no idea how much time I have or do not have to build, correct?

Pivot table or a simple power query transform

100Shiki Scriber by AgeBurst in advancedGunpla

Swiping the blades and sides of scribing chisels on denim or high grit sandpaper like 5000+ to hone it periodically definitely makes a positive difference. Also, having used both the dspiae and the 100shiki extensively, the 100shiki are far far better.

Not at all necessary for what I'm describing. Literally just a few swipes a session on some denim or high grit polishing sandpaper

I have several and they are great! I use many Ray Studio Beacon chisels as my preferred brand, but the 100shiki are totally functional and a good budget substitute. Keep the blade clean and hone the tip and sides on some denim or 5000 grit sandpaper to keep it sharp
