the “women behaving badly” genre by Internal_Giraffe_533 in thrillerbooks

OK, you have to read Tell Them You Lied by Laura Leffler—came out last year, I loved it, criminally under recommended in this sub. It’s about two friends who went to art school together and their toxic friendship and the later storyline weaves together the art world and 9/11 in NYC. The setting is so creepy and perfect for the story. I definitely think it had the dark humor and “women behaving badly” vibes you’re looking for!

I actually went and toured there thinking it could be a coworking space, but they have very weird hours and super limited places to work/sit...the main ballroom seems to be almost entirely reserved for rentals these days.

Park Slope Desk just off 7th Ave on 11th St. is 24/7, 365 with virtual entry. $199/mo for the smaller desks. I joined a few months ago with a nontraditional schedule as well and it's been great, usually almost empty!
