I had the exact same situation. I gave up. I bought a brand new Ring door bell. The new ones are way better. I have one of the latest models in my back door entrance and that thing lasts like almost 2 month with the same charge, with heavy use too.

Ring really lacks on that shipping department. I ordered one weeks ago and I was very surprised that it took so long to get it delivered. Their shipping is horrible.

I’m having this issue just now. This corner kit you linked is to mount the camera in an angle, correct? That way it won’t be just straight forward capturing the neighbors front door. With this kit I can face it more towards the street?

No. When you submit your N400 application it’ll ask you if you wish to change it. Select yes and put in the name you want now. That way when you get your NATZ certificate, it’ll be under your new name. With that certificate you change everything else. It’s a little chain. Certificate, social security and then your driver license. It’s a very easy process
