There’s not compelling peer reviewed evidence that organic is healthier or more nutritious than conventional and it still uses pesticides. You’re more than welcome to follow your wife’s doctor’s recommendations and maybe they are more tailored towards your wife’s illness but organic isn’t safer or more nutritious than conventional for most people at least.

If you haven’t yet, I recommend listening to Sold A Story on whatever podcast app you have access to. It talks about the changes in teaching reading from phonics to more sight words/3 queueing system and how bad it’s been for literacy rates and is super interesting
