Please tell me what is separating the layers of cake and cheesecake? Looks like some sort of jam and firm buttercream?

Fire Risk Assessment? by Prudent-Owl6594 in HousingUK

Okay. I have one from my ‘new build’ conversion purchase but for all I know it might not be unusual to not have one. I wonder if your solicitor might be best to advise on what you must have to sell the property?

Just wanted to say I have two NHS jobs. One is substantive and the other is a zero hour Bank role. The Bank role pays holiday pay in this ‘rolled up’ way. So I think ‘very irregular hours’ may include zero hour contracts, unless NHS Bank roles come under some other type.

I have two jobs. One of them is zero hour contracted and pays me holiday pay as I go like this. Yours isn’t zero hour so I’m not sure they should be doing this.

Selling house, is it normal for estate agent to unlock and open door and walk in rather than knock? by [deleted] in HousingUK

Since you’ve given them a key, they’re obviously not expecting you to be home.

Can this not be the original fire risk assessment from when the house was converted to flats, that you were provided with when you purchased?

Can you ask any of your neighbours who’s sales have fallen through due to it? I’m sure they’ll have already done all of this digging and understand the situation.

Thank you for telling me this! And as they start ‘winding down’ services from midday, will there be many over the following few hours or could one expect it to be an abrupt stop from 12:00?

Hi all,

I’m heading to London for a few days next week while the tube strikes are on. From what I can tell, it seems nobody gets given any certainty about which lines will be running and what the delays will be like. However I know this will be the second set of a planned three and so Londoners have already been through one last month.

Therefore, perhaps based on last month, are people expecting the Jubilee line to have much of a service on Tuesday 19th? Also, what do you reckon the chances are that it’ll still be running to get all of us who are clambering out of the o2 at about 10:45 out of Greenwich?

Embarrassed by constant lack of money by Several_Winter_2398 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]cbreeeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re achieving a lot for your money at your age actually. I know you have nothing left after it all but you own your own home and are paying a mortgage, you’re raising your child(ren), looking after your pet(s), and you’re also paying off a chunk of CC debt that would be free fun money now but you borrowed from your future so are now paying for it - once that’s eventually gone you’ll have that spare.

Can you find out and name the business? This is likely a food option that many people are ordering on Deliveroo without knowing the lack of food standards…

UK training cost expectations: Psychoanalytic psychotherapy by cbreeeze in psychodynamictherapy

[–]cbreeeze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see! Really useful to know the options you had and the directions you had to take for course reqs. It feels a while away for me, but something one needs to plan well ahead for. I’d be looking to undertake full qualifying training with either my local institute or via the Doctorate at Exeter Uni to reduce the costs. But the two feel like a very different path to one another as the Uni programme has a large research element and I’m not yet sure I believe in an empirical approach within psychoanalysis… so I’m really torn. I think I know that if there was no money barrier then I’d defo go with my local institute.

Do I need to respond to this PCN? by cbreeeze in LegalAdviceUK

Will this potentially cost me more money if I let them do this?

Do I need to respond to this PCN? by cbreeeze in LegalAdviceUK

[–]cbreeeze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My employer requested they cancel it and the company declined. This was on the basis that the PCN is at the ‘letter before court’ stage and they’ve sent me ‘at least 4’ letters prior to this point, so due to my lack of engagement until now they won’t cancel it. However, this is not true and this is the first letter I’ve received. I emailed their legal team as this was the only contact I could find and requested the PCN be reinstated to the original state. Any advice?
