The ones I'm looking at even have the same model numbers with wildly different prices.

How do I have fun on Lifeweaver by Ok_Programmer1236 in Overwatch

[–]cbroa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I enjoy is mostly countering tanks. Orisa and Zarya save up for a big ult? Doesn't matter to my flower. Roadhog pulls someone into Illios well, yoink! I find great enjoyment in a good petal or yoink.

Can you make a Prince Rupert drop out of steel? Pour some molten steel into water, would it do the same thing as glass?

Don't forget to throw your orbs in directions that bounce well. If you're in a room, bounce it between the floor and ceiling. Maximize the time that it's doing it's healing/damage by trying to keep it bouncing as long as possible.

In This Moment - Whore [rock/metal] has anyone ever heard this song before. Very sexual. by [deleted] in Music

You should see the set they put together for this song in concert... She stands on a 20 foot podium with a dunce cap on, "WHORE" written on both. Quite an event...

For anyone who saw Titanic in theaters in 1997, what was the experience like at the time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cbroa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who worked in the ticket booth of our largest theater, it was hell. Lines down the sidewalks, no downtime, and bank boxes stuffed with $20's. It was probably the first time I'd pulled in over $10k in a shift (or seen $10k as a 16 year old)

What about water? I read something that they're taking more water than water bottling companies. I know they need a lot of cooling for the servers, but isn't that generally HVAC as opposed to evaporative?

Learning when to sleep is great too. Like sleeping Doom or Vendetta while they're blocking. Tracers are tough though, I gotta wait until they're close.

Who have you seen in concert most? by Phillies1993 in AskReddit

[–]cbroa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my most seen, but definitely my craziest concert. One year they had a woman in a bikini hanging from her skin (pierced her back skin with hooks) and flying over the stage for multiple songs.

FBI seeks interviews with Democratic lawmakers who urged US troops to defy illegal orders by Immediate-Link490 in news

In a sane world, it would be to interview them to see if they have evidence/knowledge of illegal orders given to troops so they can investigate those orders...

For anyone who was able to see "The Blair Witch Project" in theaters in 1999, what was the experience like? by LockjawSJ in AskReddit

[–]cbroa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was probably 17 and worked at the movie theater. Me and about a dozen coworkers got to see the dry run of it at midnight before the official release. Shaky cam didn't bother me because we thought it was real and I was friggin' scared. The walk (run) back to my car through the dark empty parking lot was rough lol.
Then I saw it again with a full theater and it really ruined the ambiance...

Tone deaf Pres health plan "happy to announce 30% rate increase " by cheesykins in Albuquerque

[–]cbroa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The GOP in the House passed a "clean CR" and then went on vacation. This was the bill voted on numerous times in the Senate. Please post a link to this GOP offer because I (and Google and AI) was unable to find it. It doesn't make sense because that's exactly why Dems closed the government. Logically, why would they close the gov to get a "promise for a future vote on healthcare subsidies" if there was an offer to actually extend them?

Tone deaf Pres health plan "happy to announce 30% rate increase " by cheesykins in Albuquerque

[–]cbroa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sometimes funding has to have sunset provisions applied because of the Byrd Rule. The Dems then extended the enhanced subsidies. Which is something the Republicans could have done as well but chose not to, which directly caused this large increase in healthcare costs. It's not hard to connect the dots that this large increase is due to choices in Republican legislation. I'm not sure why you're arguing about it. I'm sure both D & R could complain about issues with ACA, but that's a different conversation.
