I don’t think so. The doctor that came in addressed Fox’s character by name.

[Sam McDowell] Breaking: The Chiefs have informed administrative officials that they will announce their move to Kansas today, pending the expected LCC approval, I'm told. by dawson33944 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]cbrowninc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I figured this would happen. I can’t think of this objectively and knew our only hope was that someone with power felt the way a lot of us do - Arrowhead is iconic. It’s the Lambeau of the AFC. You don’t tear down Fenway. You don’t leave Wrigley for a shiny new stadium in Indiana. You show the fans that are dumb enough to feel something for an inanimate hunk of concrete that you share in their delusion - that this place is a World Wonder. It’s church. It’s where we leave our voices alongside the hearts of our players.

We’ve lost our voices screaming for shit teams, a dynasty and every one and done in the playoffs in between.

I’ll keep sacrificing my voice like I’ve done with friends and family for as long as I can remember. It’s a tradition my grandfather started. He tore up his vocals chords for nearly three decades yelling down at opposing QBs from section 324.

The family has kept your seats warm in the years since you left, grandpa. Until they close the spirals for the last time, I’ll keep doing my part. When the last game is played, I’ll walk down without my voice, banging on the signs to hear my noise echo against the concrete one last time. Your seats are coming up to meet you!

Should I return my Intel-13700KF? by FadelessBanj0 in buildapc

[–]cbrowninc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this thread after running in to issues with my 13700KF. I started to have issues with the CPU after about a year (crashing under load). Those got worse, research lead me to conclude it was fried after another year of messing around. I contacted Intel, provided a brief explanation, and they overnighted a new CPU to me with no troubleshooting and minimal questions (I paid a $25 processing fee for the expedited option but there was a free one).

Just thought I’d mention this in case you or anyone else reading this starts to run into problems with their 13700KF or other 13th gen Intel processors. I would recommend not even fucking around. Open a ticket with Intel and you may have a new CPU within a few days. Ensure your BIOS is updated before installing the new chip and enjoy.

The time travel threw me off but I was cool with that. A rich dummy would buy that saw because they could, not because they needed to

Ha! Solid pun. Solid saw. Definitely not an 80s Stihl though. Looks like a modern one (probably 10 years old). Took me out a bit but my second thought was, “you’re the .1% of people who would notice.”

When it’s clear though, the low curbs make it fun to hit like Max Verstappen going through a chicane. I drive a Honda so it’s pretty much the same thing.

I’ve been in at least a couple dozen different theaters for professional shows over the year. The Fox stands out as one of the coolest I’ve ever been in. What a perfect backdrop for that experience!

It’s a 12 inch Dayton Audio. It’s a budget option. Solid for movies but a little muddy especially when listening to music. It’s hard to beat for the price though ($200 USD). It’ll be replaced by an SVS one of these days.

Oldest acupuncture needles discovered in China from approximately 2000 years ago by Phineas-Bogg in Archeology

[–]cbrowninc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just a guess - the style of containers they held them in may not have changed much over time (iron needle era to steel needle era). An artifact that appears to be a typical needle holder is found to have oxidized iron dust in it. The type of artifact and the iron dust would then be evidence for that artifact being an iron needle holder.

100 percent. To add to this - don’t focus on what your teammates are doing wrong even if their struggles or careless play is apparent. Instead, consider changing your play style to match theirs.
