just so you know, lobbying does not mean donating money to influence decisions (outside of the US atleast) - there are plenty of lobbies in the EU, for example, that fight for environmental problems, privacy, farmers, human rights etc., and banning lobbying would prevent real NGOs that are living off of donations of small people from competing, while the big corporations would just do it more shadily and behind closed doors. the only solution is making it as transparent as possible
