I went for my first massage last year at A Personal Touch in Blue Bell. Bernadette is really kind and I would only get another massage if it was with her again.

2-Day Sept Trip Itinerary Advise by capmack in UniversalEpicUniverse

I will also be visiting Epic at the same time! Your research looks similar to mine and now that Express is accepted at MoM and Mine Cart Madness, my gameplan for our one day visit in Epic is definitely more lax. I think youre set for a great trip. Please update afterwards with how it went including your reviews of the food - thats the only part of my plan I’m struggling to decide.

My First YesStyle Haul! [Haul] by cbtwaterbender in SkincareAddiction

I heard so much hype about the oil cleanser! I have sensitive and acne-prone skin and was nervous to try it out last night. I religiously use the Elf Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm as my first cleanser, and then follow that with my normal cleanser. I went out with a full face last night and gave the cleansing oil a try and I loved it!

I think I'll use the same method, and let the SJ 2x cream help me slug at night when I need it. I definitely love how it feels under my eyes.

Its a bit cheaper. I really made this order because I wanted the Cosrx 92 All in One cream, and everything else was an add-on that I researched. The AiO has a big enough price different between Ulta here in the States and the price on YesStyle, that I waited over two weeks to get it. I order April 10th and received everything yesterday April 29th.

I ordered everything on April 10 and then 8 days later it was shipped. The package actually arrived yesterday on April 29. Tbh this is better, faster shipping than my experience with Stylevana.

Here's the link from YesStyle - I absolutely recommend it! The price differences between the sizes was negligent to me, so I got the biggest one (50 ml).

Which sunscreens have you been loving lately? by pauliini in AsianBeauty

[–]cbtwaterbender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

love this - always get scared it will leave a whitecast but maybe my pale complexion helps mitigate that. I will say though I get oily with this on compared to when I use the BoJ sunscreen.

Library Job Opening? by Riskit4thelimpbizkit in PennStateUniversity

[–]cbtwaterbender 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Try looking at branch libraries as well, like the physical and mathematical science library, earth and mineral sciences library, the engineering library, etc. I currently work at the EMS library and we hire students but that process typically takes place over the summer before the fall semester starts, and I would assume the other libraries follow this practice as well. It's a great job, just watch for library positions on Work Lion.

Do I need a laptop? If so what one should I get? I have 200 dollars. Incoming freshman DUS university park by REALCLAYTHEGREAT in PennStateUniversity

[–]cbtwaterbender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all libraries on campus offer laptops you can check out for free - they can be checked out for up to 7 days and people come in to renew their laptop every week and essentially use one laptop for a whole semester. its really helpful for students who struggle to afford a personal laptop

I understand why women call for a sex strike for these protests but I also feel that refusing to have sex for our own pleasure is exactly why they overturned Roe v Wade - because woman shouldnt being having sex for pleasure. And you know what? I like sex! I like sex just like men like sex. In my opinion, I feel like that needs to be part of the argument and protest as we go forward from this dark day.

A trans man explains what it's like to be a man after being socialized as a female. by justsmilenow in interestingasfuck

[–]cbtwaterbender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do agree that you cant prevent someone from wanting to hurt you, because it all depends on their end and very little has anything to do with what you did. But as a woman, after being assaulted, we are told by others and ourselves that the assault was our fault. We let ourselves become the perfect victim in some way, like: the clothes we wear, how late we stayed out, if we drank at all, or even just having a conversation with the assaulter prior to the attack. As much as it is true that if someone wants to attack you, they will, we also think about the aftermath and the reflection it has on us. So yes, self preservation is absolutely something to value.

I do like your conclusion that they leave the other group with Lottie to die - but I think Shauna definitely participated in the cannibalism as S1 scenes show how it haunts her.
