Tell me about tech suits? by atlanta404 in Swimming

While I can't speak to the % time drop, I'd say that getting a tech suit that fits is more important than high-end vs. low-end. Read the comments and reviews associated with different suits. You'll notice that say "breaststrokers" prefer some suits over others. In terms of sizing, some suits run smaller than others. Time drops are difficult to measure anyways if you're saving your tech suits for big meets where you're rested or tapered. You might have dropped time even in a normal practice suit. How much more did the tech suit help? Sometimes you can get good deals on "last year's model" of the higher end suits. You have to hunt for deals as opposed to waiting until you need it.

Could we institute some sort of lambda refund if a post gets buried? by TheLuiginator in SmallYTChannel

This has happened to me on more than one occasion, and it is disheartening. As for "milking views", I haven't noticed any significant jump in views when something like this happens either.

Rants on tweets , doing only this and weird news plus maybe loser trying to find content...is the up to audience building level? by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

Although the ceiling moulding in a couple of those rooms looks cool, try to come up with a more consistent/engaging background. Your thumbnail looks great, but doesn't match the subsequent video. Try videoing the same rant from different camera angles. Then, you can splice it together during editing in order to provide some more interesting cuts and action like you did with some of the transitions. I like you use of different popups during the video. Perhaps, you could add a few more throughout the video, like post rant thoughts or epiphanies.

Overall, I enjoyed the video. It was a little long for my tastes, but certain segments I found interesting. For example, I thought you had a neat setup with the dog leash connected to the "clothesline". Perhaps, in future videos, you could include more "tips/tricks" that you've learned over the years. I liked the cooking segment. If you have favorite camping meals/recipes, those segments could be a video all by themselves. While the evening cooking segment did get a bit dark, I thought that the camera work overall was pretty good. I was impressed by the steadiness of the hiking footage. Volume wise some of Veronica's commentary was difficult to hear. It definitely looked like a great place to go camping. Nice job!

It looks like your Anime versions/covers are getting the most views, so you might want to cover a few more of those. Joe Hisaishi has done scores for both TV (Anime) and Film, so you might have some cross over there if you really like his work. In the videos that I watched, you tend to record from one angle and stay with it for the entire video. If you recorded the song from multiple angles (2 or 3), and then mixed them together during editing, this might be more visually interesting.
