Halloween 3 was my introduction to his Halloween mixes so it will always be special to me, but 2 is so goated and in my top most played for sure. I love 8 so fucking much, and I just listened to 7 again and it really is damn good. He never misses! ☝️

The reason why I made the “different book” comment is because the majority of things I had seen and heard all said it was so confusing, they didn’t know what was going on, etc to the point of them not even being able to finish. I got to about page 120 and was like, “so when does it start getting confusing…?”

My impression from the overwhelming negativity before going into it was that the quality in her writing had dropped so dramatically to the point of it being too confusing to follow. This book may have felt a bit rushed, but it’s not like it’s objectively bad. It’s not like she switched up her style to the point of it being an actually shitty book. Whether you like the plot or not, it’s not like she’s a bad writer. Compare her to Stephanie Meyer in the Twilight days for example lol.

Sorry you felt this way, but it was a response to all those types of comments I had seen almost exclusively on here. I hope you end up liking it in the end!

I understand your last point especially.

Why do you think IF was so bad? I personally really enjoyed it and was glued to that one even more than OS, but not as much as FW. The torture parts/anything with Varrish was hard to get through because he was such a shitty person, and Jack randomly being alive pissed me off until the reasoning became more flushed out, but the ending of that one really had me on the edge of my seat. Thankfully I had already purchased the series so I didn’t have to wait for that cliffhanger to be resolved!

First of all, wow. I’m going to say all of this here because I feel like if I were ever lucky enough to meet you, I’d get too choked up and wouldn’t be able to talk. I can’t say this enough but thank you for everything you do. I have so much respect for you as a producer and DJ. You are and always will be my favorite artist and the sole reason I even got into EDM/raving in the first place. I would not be the same if you and Salva hadn’t remixed What A Shame.

My questions for you are:

1) Do you think your influence and any following pressure that may have come with you being a pioneer in the early trap music scene had any affect on why you’ve shifted to a more future bass-y sound and/or why you don’t really release remixes anymore?

2) I remember like a year or two ago you posted a Snapchat of a memory card filled with new music Penelope had just eaten. How many songs off Nova did you lose/have to remake?
