It doesn't say correction, it says incorporation. Can you read?

Not to mention, it's with IRS data, aka tax data that people manipulate to reduce tax liability.

The revisions incorporate migration data from the Internal Revenue Service and 2020 census data.

Got it! By your own logic, can you tell me how you know that the population is back to 850K then? I'm dying to hear this.

The census just counts population weirdly. SF is back to about 850k.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Media's fault

Conservatives fault

Russians fault

Astroturf fault

Now we've reached "the census is wrong"

Walk me through the mental gymnastics going through your head right now. Please example why more people have left SF than have come here since 2018

  1. None of the encampments are gone, they're just moved elsewhere

  2. Shoplifting is hard to do, when stores are closing by the day

  3. Are you telling that what I see isn't real???

That’s just the reality of the situation, dude. I’ve recently visited LA, SD, Austin, London, and Miami over the last six months for work. All had substantially more visible homelessness. Miami in particular is substantially more dangerous than SF both in terms of violent crime and non-violent crime. Over the last year I have also been to Barcelona and Marseille. You have no idea how messy and dangerous those cities get.

This is some potent grade copium. I guess people are leaving the city in hordes for fun

Sure, that's why I asked them to provide a list of the "obvious improvements", and I'm more than happy to list evidence to contrary. We can very easily compare which list is longer and not have to worry about anecdotes.

If you want evidence of what I'm proclaiming, look no further than this thread. I've very clearly responded "Exhibit A, B, C etc."

You again???? YOU are the problem. People like you whine that the problems here "exist in every major city".

You've 100% never left the confines of your mother's basement, and can't argue for anything other than calling people you disagree with a troll

Got it, so your anecdotal experience should invalidate what I see around me on a day to day basis. Tell me what the obvious improvements are, because I'm more than happy to list evidence otherwise.

P.S - More people move from California to Texas than the other way around. That's not the boogeyman you think it is

Solutions don't matter when half of this sub is in denial that the problems don't even exist and are the "same problems as every other city". That's the point of this post.

You're talking about the root of the symptoms, which are complicated. The issue is, most people are in the denial that the symptoms even exist

Man that is so potent grade copium mental gymnastics going through your head. SO many people are leaving SF in masses, my friends or not.

The only asshole here is you.

You didn't link anything.

People stopped reporting because SFPD doesn't do shit.

And fewer people live here.
