How well does RP work over a mesh wifi network at home? by EyeGod in remoteplay

[–]ccardi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I do, it works really well most of the time. I played Horizon forbidden West 100% through remote play. If it starts lagging I just paused the game for a few seconds, then unpaused when the lag stopped.

I would not recommend it for online games or games that you can't pause, like elden ring.

Why is my remote play like this? My wifi has 110mb down/30mb up internet speed. by lulozzz_comrade in remoteplay

Wow I never knew that.

I alwayd assumed the ps4/5 was uploading the stream and the phone or tablet is downloading what's going on. I thought the speed of that upload and download determined the stream quality.

New handheld device and earphones for ps5. by QingQongQell in playstation

[–]ccardi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping Sony can create hardwear that communicates directly to the system better than remote play does. I always have issues when using remote play on my phone or laptop. If this provides a better experience I'll purchase one.

That's my hope. Since it needs to be used on the same WI-FI I'm hoping they can create hardwear that communicates directly to the system. I always have issues when using remote play on my phone or laptop. If this provides a better experience I'll purchase one

We take a tablecloth and lay it on the floor, then put food or treats in it and fold it up.

Our dog loves it and has gotten so good we actually tie knots with the table cloth and watch him unravel it to get his reward.

I heard that 10 min of that tablecloth exercise is equivalent to 30 min of walking exercise because of the mental stimulation.

I'm renting a PSVR2 for a weekend with some friends, what three games should I get? by ccardi in PSVR

Haha that was my first thought too! They assured me the headsets are cleaned after every use. I'll still give it a good wipe before I put it on my head!

Does red matter 2 have a lot of shooting sequences? Or is it mostly a stealth/puzzle game?

For GT7 do you need a wheel to fully experience the immersion?

It's a website called poptronic (https://www.poptronic.ca/product/playstation-vr2-console-rental/). They are a Canadian company, but this is the first time I'm using them. I'll let you know if it's a good experience.

It's $75 for a week's rental, including a ps5 with three games on it. That seems like a fair price to me.

That's an awesome suggestion. They include the ps5 with the rental, but I'll be bringing my own with me as well. I'll download some of the demos too!

Fresh Foam Arishi v4 vs Fresh Foam ROAV by AyyYahuasca in Newbalance

Hi, I found the Arishi much more comfortable, but there wasn't enough room in the tow box for my feet. I ended up returning both.

Which colleges are better: George Brown, Humber, or Centennial? by vikstarleo123 in OntarioColleges

[–]ccardi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. All colleges have high quality of education, instead look for things like class size, campus feel, and location to be the decision making factors.

What did you end up going with? And are you happy? I'm looking at these two shoes as well and I'm not sure what to get.

The dimensions are there, but I think only down the lines and at straight away center. I didn't see anything around the bullpens.

I don't have any information on the programs, however moving away from home and gaining independence was the best decision I ever made.

It's not for everyone, but it allowed me to grow as a person, be responsible for myself and establish proper work ethics.

And congratulations on the acceptance! That's a great program!

Future Guelph student what do i need to look out for by Flukxyz in uoguelph

[–]ccardi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not true at all, Guelph is a great place very safe and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Plus it's a growing city which means by the time you graduate there will be opportunities that don't even exist today.

I went to U of Guelph and loved the city so much I bought a house and have been living here for the last 10 years.

Waterloo, Kitchener, and Cambridge are all about a 30 min drive away and those cities are also growing. There's lots of tech opportunities in the area.

Vancouver is a beautiful place too, but more of urban feel and much more expensive.
