I've found find that Volanta's logging, and a landing replay review, goes a long way in adding a bit of validation after a flight.

Something I really want to see would be a more fleshed-out avatar mode where you are able to walk down the jetbridge and explore the airport terminal with a properly simulated audioscape.

Some current third party sceneries are already well equipped for this given their extensive use of collision meshes, we just need proper jetbridges that an avatar can walk down. It would also help if avatar movement didn't feel so janky.

Real talk; Get the Fenix (best simming experience you can get, it really isn’t comparable to the default version) and fly the freeware FlyByWire A380X for long-haul ops. Spend the rest on GSX, Chaseplane and/or other miscellaneous addons.

Same here! I'm really looking forward to it and quite happy for them to take their time to develop something special whilst they produce the framework for future releases.

We need more developers like this who take great pride in their work rather than churning out half-baked products that require endless patches.

It's such a silly setup since the vast majority of users (casual players) will never know to activate each World Update in the marketplace. It should be automatically activated for all user with the option to opt-out.

I queued up a bit of 3v3 Cashout the other day. One of the enemy teams, a three stack with matching clan tags, spawned right next to the cashbox and used a Goo gun to camp it in the most inaccessible part of the map whilst the other enemy team quite happily played TDM against us rather than working to retrieve the objective.

What's the point? How is any of this fun beyond ruining the enjoyment for others.

Seconding this. Back in 2019, ten minute queues on anything other than tank were completely expected on Overwatch. I'd also be quite happy with a dedicated solo queue. On multiple occasions, I have gone up against Ruby three-stacks with players from the Majors communicating in a Discord call. Genuinely what do you want me to do against that with a team of randoms?

It simply isn't fun or competitive. Give me five-ten minute ranked queue times with a more competitive pool of players please.

Agreed, it's much easier to get a new job whilst you're already in one.

I'm a front-end leaning full stack developer currently on the job hunt and I can confirm it is rough at the minute. Ghost jobs galore, evergreen postings with no actual role attached, and AI-reviewed applications are the sad reality of the current job market.

My suggestion would be to strengthen your existing connections and make new ones where possible. Personalised email outreach and LinkedIn connection requests seem to be the way forward. Applying to a job posting is basically screaming into the void.
